It looks to be one of the Gran Turismo games. But I can't tell which one. Being at the time of the original showing of the episode that the younger Jack O'Neill was in, it could be GT1, GT2, or GT3. I have a suspicion it is GT3, but it has been a while since I've played GT3, GT2, or GT1 that I have forgotten what the layout on the screen looks like. As far as I remember though the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Rally Car Prototype was only in GT3, so I'm going to say he is playing GT3.

This question had better be a good one, Vash... :D

Sorry, I completely forgot about the thread! :banghead: I was in the process of thinking of a question after I answered the previous one and I had two candidates for questions, but I have forgotten one of them. So here it goes!

What is the name of the planet that is Jonas Quinn's homeworld?

It was named Langara by the three warring parties in a peace accord - Kelowna is his country/continent on that planet, and originally the Kelownan name for the planet (and they have the Stargate).

Very nice! You answered more than I wanted, but good information nonetheless!  Famine, your up! Hopefully I will be able to answer the next question.

I need to re-watch a couple more episodes to compose the next one, but I'll be back soon... :D

Count me out then. Me brain ain't workin' like she used ta.

If you need to re-watch it, there's no way I just going to happen to remember. :(

This had better be one hell of a question, Famine. :D

Hmm. I forgotted about this thread...

*plots*

Wow how did I not see this thread. Count me into the quiz :D

Anytime Famine....... anytime in the next decade :D

Right... :D

How many different Goa'uld have been killed at the hands of SG-1?

All of them.

I'm going to take a pass on this one. I could probably figure it out, but it would take me longer than it took Famine to post the question in the first place.

jesus Famine, a little more specific would be nice. Do you mean how many system lords have been killed, or how many different clans? (eg: those loyal to Sokar, Ra, Apophis, etc)

Don't forget to not include Anubis who may or may not be dead, but was "taken out of the picture" by Oma Desala, Ba'al who isn't dead, Yu who was killed by Replicarter, Heru-ur (killed by Apophis), Nerus (shot by Ba'al) - and so on and so forth.

It's really not that many...

I mean Goa'uld. Snake-things.

I'm not counting all the larval ones in the pouches of all the Jaffa they've killed, just the ones occupying other people's heads.

No names, no pack-drill, huh?

SG-1 killed their very first Goa'uld in the film - Ra. 9 full seasons later they've only topped 4 more? Pffft!

Ra, Apophis, Seth, Heru-ur, Osiris, Hathor, Anubis, Nirrti, Yu, Nerus. Some of these were not actuallly killed by SG-1, but I was just listing everyone Goa'uld I could think of or find mention of somewhere. I know there is one other minor system lord that SG-1 brought down, but I cannot think of his name at the moment.

Potentially considered Khalek. I only say Khalek because he had all of Anubis's memories and traits, though he did not have a snake in his head.

But can you include the film, because even though a team of SGC personnel killed Ra, that specifically wasn't SG1 was it?

Hathor and Seth certainly (O'Neill and Carter, respectively). Ra - yes, and I'll deal with that below. Apophis... You could make a good argument for it - I mean they killed him once and Sokar revived him, but his proper death involved getting a planet in the face while being eaten by Replicators. SG-1 did programme that ship to crash though. Osiris was removed from Sarah by the Tok'ra - whether he is dead or not is a different question altogether.

Heru-ur (killed by Apophis), Anubis (not dead), Nirrti (killed by her own experiment), Yu (probably killed by Replicarter) and Nerus (probably killed by Ba'al) are negatives.

So that's four so far...

I think that might warrant a smart-arse point. Good job.

Yes, you can:

GARSHAW: Were you among those who rid the galaxy of the Supreme System Lord Ra?
JACK O'NEILL: Yup, that's us, that, yeah, we're those.

Well I have a long ways to go then, I will have to look through my DVD collection to see what else I can find, as I know I have missed some.

Amonet was another Goa'uld killed by SG-1, as she was killed by a staff blast from Teal'c. Ares potentially died at the hands of O'Neill. Cronus was another System Load killed at the hands of Teal'c. Teal'c also killed the minor Goa'uld Imhotep. Marduk was yet another kill of SG-1.

And for now that is all I'm going to add because I've got to go to class now.

Ares, Amunet, Marduk and Imhotep, yes. Cronus... nope. Cronus was killed by robo-Teal'c.

Bocce Ba'al is most certainly not dead.

Yet.
