I just realized one of the reasons I tolerate GT6. I was on early enough to get in on the Mercedes concept car glitch which gave me over 20,000,000 credits and about 100 mil worth of really hot cars early in the game. If I would have had to slug away for every credit I would have been very frustrated. I essentially have had an unlimited budget to buy and tune cars and once I got to the upper career levels, credits came easy. Yes, it is bad public relations for PD to have the audacity to sell credits so we can enjoy their game. Just playing GT6 I always have over 20,000,000 credits and it is nice to be able to go over 20 mil credits which we couldn't in GT5.
I feel sorry for those that missed out on this glitch.
If PD wants a more positive reception when they release GT7, start everyone with 10,000,000 credits and let the fun begin!

Well, the fun of the game is to have to work to get good cars. Ever hear of a race car driver in real life starting out in a multi-million dollar car? No. They probably started out in go carts, then bought a cheap car and raced that in events until they get noticed. Then they join an official racing league and get faster cars. Then they just get into faster and faster leagues, and then they get into the "big time". I find it fun to need to work hard to get a Ferrari, Lamborghini, or Mercedes. If GT7 makes us start out with that many credits, I wont be buying it.

I believe that they should distribute a "C-Spec" Version that you can buy where you can add as many credits as you want into your game and have the online only be compatible with game discs of the same version

Very very true, but when GT7 comes out, and I'm use to my garage of high performance cars, I don't want to begin with a Honda Civic and start all over. Realism is always the best way to go up to a point. I don't want to do 20 years of weekend racing to get into a F1 car on GT7.

The problem is in the game progress. It's a good idea to start with a low performance car and to have the feature to buy very strong cars in the future.
But the trouble on GT6 is the credit gain way for increase the garage that's too little for expensive cars.

I mean that the credit that you won MUST depends strongly with driver level experience.

Some example

1 mode (beginner) --> 10.000 credits for each race won
2 easy --> 50.000
3 intermediate --> 100.000
4 high --> 200.000
5 very high --> 500.000
6 super --> 1.000.000
7 Red Bull --> 2.000.000
8 endurance -NOW MISSING --> 5.000.000

In this way when you are very expert and ends the game, you have the feaure to buy a lot of cars.

Other way is that player can set the level difficulty at the start of the game. Much high is the level of the game (race) much more the credits.
Other way to increase the credits is to choose a car that's have a PP lower that maximum allowed for a race (like on GT5 season events).
Other way VERY IMPORTANT is that AI game choose the opponents cars with similar PP, Year, Engine Power of your own car. So that you choose a 500 PP cars of year 2014 the AI don't choose -like now- all 400 PP cars of 1980-2000 Year so that races is too easy to win.

Yes I'm tired of starting gt games with just 30k

I like the idea of gradual progression towards faster cars. I've tried to complete the career with as few cars as possible, using only reward cars and cars I think I could afford with only the winnings from career mode, not using the bonus million from Anniversary edition or credits from seasonal events. But as the game has progressed (I'm not even close to completing the career yet) I've lost track of that, and my garage has many cars I've bought for the seasonal events.

However, I think I can also see the point in this thread. Perhaps there could be two wallets for the player. One that holds the proceeds from career mode, and another that holds the proceeds from seasonals and any bonuses. At the beginning of the game, there would be a huge amount of credits in the bonus wallet. The player would choose a career difficulty, and according to that choice, part of the bonus wallet credits would be transferred to the career wallet. When buying a car the player would be asked which wallet to use, and cars would be tagged accordingly. Only those cars bought with the career wallet would be awailable to use for progressing on the career, but any car could be used for seasonals and online.

Did that make any sense to anyone?

How about a decent career mode and a balanced in-game economy? You know, where racing for money is actually fun, rather than a chore?

The whole system needs revamping.
At present to earn money reasonably quick you are very limited in your choice of races.
Not talking just doing fast earners like Red Bull over & over but in general.
To earn money you need to enter a race that allows racing tyres & probably needs a 500pp+ car.
Fancy racing on road tyres or running around in hatches or classics & you will spend a long time increasing your bank roll.
This is made far worse by the lack of choice of different races that are worth repeating.
Poor AI or one or 2 cars in the field being far superior to the rest meaning if you want to win & get the money passing the rest is simples.
Its not a race just a case of dodge slow moving traffic while chasing the quick car only to have him slow down once you catch him.
Also many races are held on the same tracks, we have loads many never even get used in career mode or see one outing.
10 Race GT3 series anyone.

I must admit I don't understand this game any more all this content & a lot isn't used like tracks or cant be.

I don't understand the sense in all these cars & then giving us more with the visions for example when you cant even fit half of them in your garage. So collecting is a pointless side game as you have to spend time thinking what you actually want in your garage or wasting your life moving them about from garage to stockyard.

Off topic but I went to repaint a car, wont be doing that again in a hurry, why cant I delete the paints I dont want or at least mark the ones I like as favourites. I am not going through 350 odd colours again looking for a nice one.
New paints should be highlighted then you can look at them once then keep or delete them.

Very good!
What you didn't like the 3,000 paint colors to choose from in GT5?
