Doug, you lucky, lucky boy. 👍

I can see some opportunities coming from this, as someone else suggested in their post.

Photos/write-ups in another thread would be much appreciated too. :D

How are you going to get on driving the manuals?

[click subscribe] Nice [/wait for ridiculous pictures]

Forget looking for the cars, now you can let them come to you.

Ha ha...Doug's now going to violate his own rule of "no dealership photos"!

Good luck, Doug: It's a tough industry. It's even tougher on car enthusiasts, as you'll see.

You should probably be careful with the pictures, Doug. Since you would be taking these pictures while on the job you might want to ask your manager about legal issues with license plates and whatnot. I don't know if there are any, but it seems plausible.

I wanted to take pics of the insides of the Taj Mah-Lexus dealer, but the 40-page handbook specifically said no. It would have been an impressive thread, but I didn't want legal action (especially if wanting to stay in the industry).

There's a lot of safety regulations and laws concerning the insides of the repair shops, so be careful about displaying something that could make your dealership "vulnerable" on the 'net. Like any workplace, better check with your boss first.

That seems reasonable. I personally know a few places that just don't quite follow the rules in every situation. But nobody knows about it, and they don't need to. But they will if pictures are all over the internet.

I'll provide pictures, but mostly just of the cars. Honestly the workplace is nothing special... just like any normal car dealer except with Bentleys, Maseratis, and Ferraris (and the occasional BMW) on the lifts rather than everyday cars.

This is a full-time job (put in ten hours today!), but only until ~August 6. On that date I go back to Atlanta to continue school. No, I won't continue this after school... the whole point of college is to get away from manual labor! :D

On to the premo forum (in a bit)! :D

Damn. I need to get Premium!

haha, awesome job indeed, every work day would almost be an event in itself. Could we all ask that you posted the stuff in the non-premium forum?

at least a link to the photobucket or something like that, just to see the cars... and try to get good shots (:

Buy premium.

Buy premium.

I'd do it if I had the time to make the most out of it, but honestly I just browse the "spots of the day" thread while i'm ironing or looking for info or writing for the mags or something like that... hell, I haven't had the time to even scan some drawings I want to put here. It would be a waste X _ x
