Obliviously OP likes Gran Turismo 5 or else he wouldn't be here in the first place. Also you have to buy the Test Course in order to experience what his complaint is about. And of course the biggest thing with games nowadays is that developers really are listening to their audience and what OP's got in this thread is actually a pretty legit oversight. PD wants us to give them feedback, they are indeed watching their audience very carefully.
There is also a whole community of people within GT's fanbase who do think 1/4 mile, 0-60, 0-100, revs and launches are important. These kind of specs are a part of car culture and its something Gran Turismo should offer us fairly and accurately.
