^^Ah, that's horrible. Wonder if a storm got it.

I've got the Demo and played it for an hour. It's in the US store you just have to go to search and put in G then T and scroll down. It wasn't in the Demo section. Now we've got an actual tire model and flexible suspension. I'm not going to mention anything else so you can see for yourself.

Is it the GT Academy demo?

I'm a 42 year old man who just spent pretty much the entire day pissing my pants to get info on the GT6 Demo. I got up at 5:30am thinking I could download the demo, which I couldn't, and the rest of day updating GTPlanet every couple of minutes for any feedback on the game play. I just convinced my boss that I need to leave work 2 hours early because of the "transit strike" we're having out here in the San Francisco/Bay Area.

It's important to have your priorities. :-)

I ran the first cars (Leaf and Z) and was completely unimpressed. Put it away. Cockpit cam had too much frame loss. Pretty let down. So much grip on both cars, you had to work hard to get loose.

Then ran the first TT on Silverstone with the tuned Z. Now you can see some progressive grip loss, much improved. Went back and ran the Z on Autumn Ring in bumper cam. Looks really nice. Gonna keep going through the Events.

Edit: Just did a back to back test of the GTA 370Z in GT6 and GT5 on Autumn Ring. So much more suspension travel in GT6, not that GT5 feels bad but GT6 is much more refined and alive. Feels more "real".

The lighting and graphics are improved. The weight shift of the car is much better. You can actually put too heavy of a load on the front end causing the rear to become lite and causing a lack of grip. The wheel still feels like jello.

Physics took a fairly big step in the right direction.

I hope the wheel settings can be tweaked to feel a bit better.

I don't think they will. These Logitech wheels are designed for PC and just happen to work on the Playstation. I believe drivers are required to get the most out of the wheel. The PS3 doesn't give us that option.

The only difference I noticed was more body roll and the rear end getting light. The racing events were the same old "race from the back to the front, then smoke them" stuff. Graphics looked the same to me. I have a feeling this game is going to be GT5 in a bigger package. Hey maybe they are spending all this time getting the online right.

I really like Silverstone. But I'm not used to the new lay out. As of last night the number 1 time was a 2:18 by Maverick. I'm seven seconds off that.

You were running with traction control at 7. Try turning it off. You should pick up some time.

Awe hell. Thanks Red I'll Ga Head and make sure to change it.

Also, you can run the Leaf and Z on the 4 race events backwards for hot lapping. The AI pits after 2 laps and you get the track to yourself.

He's not human.

GIH is 8th right now with a time of 2:18.778

I was able to better my time. 2:24.199. Slow and Low.

Don't sweat it. To be fast in Gran Turismo, you must be able to basically drift corners. Not very realistic for putting in fast times.

You know me by now. I'm not a good lapper. I did shake off quite a bit of time though today I'm getting more familiar with the layout and turning off traction control helped a lot

Hey JT, we've got the exact same time in Practice 1. Ha!

Tried Silverstone. One lap in and my son sabotaged my game time. Think I need 20 laps before I can remember any turns.

GTA 13 "demo" has a pi$$ poor frame rate in cockpit cam. Anyone else disappointed in that? So jumpy and not just the Events with AI. Hate having to switch views just to try out the physics. I can't believe it's so bad for an Official Competition. Silverstone is fun though, yes yes.

Noticed that as well on the final turn of Autumn Ring. Pretty big frame rate drop. Hopefully it is just in the demo version. Most demo's are a very early build of the game.

Not enough Audi's in this thread.
