I don't care about all these people saying stealth cars cannot be gifted.... hear me out.

First, since I have not tried, I neither agree or disagree that it does or does not work. But I do have a friend that had a stealth car gifted and it worked just fine on his NTSC PS3. So let's keep out the people that say gifting stealth cars does not work, and lets just set up a trade and try it out for ourselves. There is nothing to lose!

Who wants to give it a shot? I will trade two of the cars below for your Stealth car. If it doesn't work than we are out absolutely nothing. You can even make a backup save to USB just in case. Then you can re-load your backup save and call it good. For those of you who have tried and it did not work, maybe trading NTSC to NTSC doesn't work, or PAL to NTSC doesn't work, who knows the case, but lets just try it and see what happens, ok!

Jaguar XJ13 Race Car '66
Mercedes Sauber C9 Race Car '89
BMW GTR McLaren F1
Audi R10 TDI Race Car '06
Jay Leno Tank Car

We all tried this and no, stealth cars can not be gifted. When you click on the car to send, a message saying "This car can not be gifted" will pop up. I have some stealth cars and tried it so your friend is wrong.
 
There are only 2 ways to obtain a stealth/chrome line car:
1-Enter an unused code.
2-Gamesharing: where for example your friend (who have to have the code and downloaded the car from PSN) log in on your PS3 using his PSN ID and download the car again to your PS3 -> you'll then have his stealth too.
 
sounds like you have looked into this quite a bit. thanks for your help with this. are you positive this is the only way to get a stealth?

You can't gift those cars dude, your friend might be either A) hallucinating B) lying...
Trust me man, it would be awesome if you could gift stealth cars... so we can get stealth 787B and R10...
but in reality only way to get those cars is by following what HN7 said.

I'm confused because I'm getting a lot of email about the code..

You have about a week to get a code btw. Stealth codes expire at the end of this month, and they will be gone forever.

My brother's account with 2 stealth cars is on my PS3 and they downloaded to my account, and my 2nd account just fine. They automatically add themselves to any new account I create on the PS3 aswell.
 
no can't trade chromeline cars!

and really. my buddie loaded his nsx account on my ps3 and it didnt add to my account. weird!
 
No... there is already a million threads about this already... just search for one of them if you're curious.
