Is there any chance of getting the stealth cars for free or as a DLC for those who were unable to get them before.

  • Mazda 787B
  • Audi R10 TDi
  • Nissan GT-R
  • McLaren F1
  • Honda NSX
  • SLS AMG

I would really like to drive them. Does any one have any codes they can give me?

P.S. I only have the collectors edition of Gran Turismo 5 not the signature edition, does that matter?

Why should you get anything for free is beyond me, for years gamers in Europe were always **** upon with inferior releases, release dates months after Japan and the US and choice of games compared to Japan and the US.

You are wrong, they are the first DLC to be made available with game but only for limited buyers.

I'm not an egoistic person, but would definately feel 🤬 badly if they would offer the stealth cars as DLC. Reason is simple, I paid 250,- € for the Sig Edition in hope to win the SLS (not really^^), just to discover the epic challenge is B-Spec only! :irked:

Now the stealth cars are the only remaining benefit of buying the Sig Edition.

People just are sad sons of bitches who get offended if others get better deal. The reasonable robot person is of course more interested what deal he gets and just is happy for people if they get better deal.

Maybe I should add that my post was intended to be taken with a pinch of salt (note the smiley at the end). ;-)

This.

He's absolutely right though, the SE stealths have no business ever being released as as DLC unless it's a full SE upgrade package. Now if they want to do *new* stealth cars then by all means have at it.

Yup, I bought the Sig Ed cheap from GAME, mostly because I'm a collector in general, but if something is sold as exclusive or limited, it should remain that way.. otherwise who's ever going to believe that future limited edition items are worth the money.

I don't believe they are sharable. I tried to share the Stealth 787B with friend and couldn't.

Wow, love the hate. I don't think anyone said give them away for free.

I think these cars should be made available for download. I can't see any reason why they don't sell them in the online store. That's like saying, "I have a product that people want to buy. I just can't be bothered to sell it. I'd rather not make any money, really."

I'd be willing to buy them as a single bundle, but I really just want the GT-R and the NSX.

Are these cars shareable online between friends ?
No they are not. I have the stealth SLS and the Chrome Line cars and can't even share them between accounts on the same PS3.

Actually, let me be more precise: The game will let you "share" them, i.e. upload them to "online" status. However, none of your friends will actually be able to borrow them. They can only look, and drool.

^^^^ lol

It's mainly because people had to do something "special" to get them.

I don't really see why we it HAS TO BE so exclusive. I have exclusive cars, but don't care if other people got the chance to buy them. You're right.

I think the Stealth cars should be put on the PS Store because they were pre-order bonuses and they usually end up on the PS Store after a little while. The Chromeline cars on the other hand...

True, but in the case of previous DLC (Chromeline, Stealth, Edge Camaro, Jaguar), once they are downloaded, they automatically appear in the Garage of any new account that you create on the same PS3, so there is no need to be able to share them between accounts on the same PS3. ;)

So lets se...the ones that preorder or bought the Signature Edition (or whatever) have enjoyed these cars for almost a year exclusively. Therefore I don't see a single problem with them being available now for a low price :)
If you say otherwise, you are selfish :grumpy:

I'd love to get my hands on the stealths and chromes, but honestly, I don't think it'd be fair to those who got the sign ed, collectors ed, etc...

one time doing shuffle races i got a chrome line gullwing. it was cool. saved the replay to take pics later. i wonder if the stealths can be driven through shuffle racing?

Why not, it passed almost an year...almost all them don't care about the cars anymore :D

Well, they might not care about driving it as much, but they're a cool collectors item and if they were given away or sold regularly, all their exclusivity and status would be gone. That's why I don't think it'd be fair.

I used to totally agree with what you're saying, Rods. Now I don't and this is why.

There's nothing wrong with having people pay for them if that's what other people had to do. They paid extra for a special edition of GT5. Exclusivity is pointless. People complain about having to wait for cars to show up in the UCD, yet some don't even want others to get the Exclusive cars they have because they bought the Special edition of GT5. It's being plain selfish and irrational.

And again, I don't have'em and I don't care about exclusivity or status, but people who payed at lot for such things probably do, reason why I don't think it's fair.

The only way I could get the Stealth and Chromeline cars in Canada was to buy the Hong Kong Version and set up a Chinese account! You can not trade the cars or borrow to a North American account! In the end it was not really worth it to buy the rare edition, as I don't play on my Chinese account at all, but the diecast GTR that comes with it is sweet!
