hello everyone
What is your opinion to the simulation of the different steering ratios that every car has?
Driving a car...lets say a normal BMW 3-series and then getting into an Evo9 (in real life) you really feel the difference in the steering ratios and thus the steering response. The Evos steering is just so much quicker. Now - I have to say I don't feel the difference between all the cars in the game that much. Sure, the heavy Nissan GTR R35 feels heavy and reacts differently than the light and nimble Lotus - you really feel the difference in the way the cars drive and handle but turning my Logitech wheel all cars seem to respond pretty much the same. Do we get a standard steering response in the game because we use the same steering wheel for all cars?
(Even when putting the same tires on different cars - say the Mustang in the game gets S2's like the Evo... the steering on the Mustang should still feel different and more "spongy" than the Evo).
