Just wondering how people steer and shift in GT7

I use manual shift with wheel and controller.

I use a controller with manual gear changes, sensitivity at 10 and no assists except abs on weak. I have a G29 wheel and a wheel stand, but I don't have enough space to keep it installed full time as a fixed setup. Always had to set it up to play, and set it down when I was done. Since I don't have the patience anymore to do it all the time, I just use the controller. On GT7 it feels great so it's not a problem.

I would use manual but X and Square are just cumbersome locations for me.

When I was on controller I used the right analogue stick for changing gears, and R2/L2 for Accelerate/Brake. Worked much better than X and Square.
