Is using a steering wheel worth it? because I am seriously planning to buy one

I am thinking about buying the GT5 logitech driving force and is it good?

Yes and the DFGT is a good starter wheel.

especially once you get to level 30 for the Sebastian Vettel challenges it will help. the reaction time for a controller is too slow for the X2010. i have a G25 which if you can find one new on ebay, amazon, or else where, get it over the G27 for the fact that the G25 has sequential option where the G27 only is H-Pattern or paddle. plus you can pull off some amazing saves with the wheel.

It's night and day over a pad. Seriously I've loved the series since GT3. Last Year I treated myself to a G25 and it's as big an improvement over a pad as GT is over Ridge Racer.

If you have any love for driving a wheel is a must. Wrestling a car round the ring with a wheel is probably the most fun you can have on a console.

Oh and your lap times should improve as well.

by far its incredible fun! i had a lap of a lifetime for a lap in a SLS and it was awesome. perfect handling, perfect car control, and the car never dared to slide. it was for the wet full lap in the special events, beat gold by close to 4 seconds.

I got the G27 just for GT5. Been planning to get one when GT3 came out but there was nothing decent out at the time. With the wheel i feel that you have more control of the cars, and it for sure helps with the X1 challenges.
