i used the Thrustmaster Force Feedback wheel (basically the 360 modena version with FF) (not the GT model) and it was great to use.
It is designed for use on the pc so you'll need a DS2 controlller pulgged in which sometimes can cause some conflicts, nothing major but they're there.
The wheel is pretty solid and has the rubber grip all around the wheel, plus the added sequential style gear shift to the right of the wheel (that took some getting used to as i'm used to manual right-hand-drive cars where the transmission is on the left.

) the pedals are great too, they have a wide range of movement which gives heaps of brake response and accuracy, the throttle is usually all the way down, but same applies.
As mentioned, there's the conflicts, where normally you can control the game menus from the two 4-way d-pads on the front of the wheel sometimes the controller takes over in a way disabling the wheel. This has happened a number of times during a race where the wheel inputs are no longer registered. pausing the game power off/on fixes the prob, but can really stuff the races up.
I might add that the wheel has since ceased function, my guess is that i have burned out something inside, the actuator more than likely. i'll admit that i was quite rough - going from lock to lock in record time couldn't have helped - with the wheel - especially on the tighter tracks and the rally courses.
Apart from that, great wheel over all. be warned however as the the 'GT' version of this wheel looks almost identical, they're the same price and bout the only real difference in the pedals and different clamping system. the wheel is an extremly poor build, the FF was hardly noticable and everytime i turned it felt like it was going to tear apart in my hands.
