I'm pretty sure I asked a question like this, but I want to clarify my thought and make this single request.

I enjoy going to my garage and searching for cars, but sometimes, I want a car that fits a seasonal or an offline event, and I can't find it due to various reasons.

So, I would like to ask if the PP filter can have graduated steps. The easiest would be the following:

150-250
200-300
250-350
300-400
etc.

This will make finding a car easier, because the range that I am interested in would be more easily found rather than having a cutoff RIGHT AT the level I am interested in.

Now, a 50PP step would be nice, but maybe a 25 PP step could be interesting to others. I'll leave that to personal interpretation.... ;)

A good idea but it's just a feature request isn't it?

if it hasn't been corrected yet, the upper limit is using < in the filter code instead of <=
so you don't see you car if it match the exact top filter value

and please ... take out the tires type in the filtering for online racing

Better idea: take the "car search" feature that's already available in the game and make it available within the player's garage offline & online so that he can use it to search cars of specific PP range, HP, year, model, etc.

This is somewhat a feature request, but it's more (to me) a usage function. When I go to a seasonal or offline race, I search for the "suggested car". When it's not there, I have to filter by.... whatever....

Now, I WOULD like a multi-step filter that would mimic the "suggested car", but let me see cars that I have that can be de-tuned somewhat. This is really what my request is for. I have cars that I have (or have not) tuned that could meet the PP for the race, but they are over the limit. So, let me see everything within a range, and let ME decide if I want to de-tune or whatever so I can select from more cars than just the ones UNDER the limit.

I can't say how screamingly frustrating it is to have a '00 PP limit, filter for X00 to Y00, and NOT see the cars that JUST exceed the limit! AAAHHHH!!!!

When there is a X50 limit (or similar), you filter for the hundreds, and you see all of the cars that are close. I want that ability when there is an X00 limit by filtering to X50.

Oh, and a tire filter would be nice, as well. I can BUY tires if I need to! GRR....

I think the biggest thing missing from the "Suggested Cars" list is the ability to see what DOESN'T make the list, and why. Separate lists for each thing not right could be VASTLY beneficial. Not sure of the best way to do it, but to be able to filter by not having the correct tire, PP, or both (and maybe how far away), would make a massive difference in finding a usable car.

It kind of already exists...
If you go into your garage at any race entry or seasonal entry, there's the option for "eligible cars".

I'm aware of the eligible cars. What I want are the "almost eligible" cars..... ;)
Perhaps they could sort them by how they are ineligible, tires, power, weight, and of course, cars that cannot be eligible could simply not appear at all.

Too many categories would cause a dirty mess though, so not too many.

That's what I want. They could clear up the mess by having the different sections on different pages. One for tires, one for low PP, one for high PP, etc.

Maybe simpler would just be to include cars that fit the PP, but are otherwise ineligible In black or grey, to indicate they can be modified to fit regs?

You can mix knowledge of your car and checking the car out.
Or if the display shows basic specs like pp. weight, power, and tires they could light up red.
Something thats laid out so you can just scroll across the top and simply press x on any category and sort it by that.

The side menus and picking from lists sucks.
