Finally got to LvL 40.Doing the 24hr at Nurb. 17hrs of non stop rain so far.Glad its bob driving and not me.

Yes, it happens quite frequently that it rains major part of the 24hr races.

Still Raining???

I too started the 24HR race last night and has rained non-stop. Currently at the 16:24.000 hour mark and 3 laps down in 7th place

I'm in the Minolta. Needs to stop raining in order to catch up. Even then it would be close.

I'm in the Minolta. Needs to stop raining in order to catch up. Even then it would be close.

Yes, im at 19hr 38 mins, and its STILL raining.I went X1 cause last thing I wanna do is look at the end of the race and see I didnt win.Dont wanna do ANOTHER 24hrs.Go big or finish last. 👍

Yeah, should have gone that route as well. 17 hours and still raining for me

If I baby sit I can make up about 30 sec a lap. Looks like I'll have to do this one over.

Ya, if your 3 laps down, gonna be hard to make up ground.Almost at the 21hr mark...guess what? Its STILL raining.I went to race intermediate tires instead of rain.Picked up a little on the lap times.Sad, X1 running avg laps of 7 mins at nurb.Will it EVER stop raining?No biggie, Im sure Im at min about 20 laps ahead.Bob can pull over and take a nap if he likes.

***EDIT**** IT FINALLY STOPPED RAINING.( 21 hrs of non stop rain)Now lets see how long it takes for the track to dry out so I can throw on some race soft and really open up and make some good lap times.

Thanks for the tire tip. May attempt the intermediates to see if it helps. Still catching at about 30 seconds a lap. Right at 2 laps down now (almost) and 18:56.xxx on the clock

Rain stopped for me at the 21hr mark. You still can do it with 6hrs left.I see you already made up 1 lap.Good job. 👍 You should be OK.try the tire change and see if that helps.

***EDIT*** track dry now.Bob ran a 5.09.376, so since rain stopped, gained 2 mins per lap.Have 2hrs 6mins left.Go Bob GO..lol

FYI, Intermediates did not help on the Minolta in the rain. Lost about 15-20 seconds per lap. It was worth a try though. About 3 hours and 40 minutes to go....still raining...back to 2 1/2 laps down. Oh boy.

Hopefully rain stops and it dries up for you.I got 1hr 5mins left.Sorry the tire change didnt work, next time use the X1.
