So Oversteer is bascially the car steering into the turn very easily and Understeer is the car steering to outside? I confused. I saw a Diagram one day of a car and an arrow that started at the rear wheel and it pointed to the outside turn.. Would that be an example of understeer? And another arrow that pointed to the inside of the corner starting from the front tire.

Oversteer = the car turns more than wanted, a tendency to spin out.

Understeer = the car turns less then wanted, a tendency to push wide.

ASM Understeer prevents understeering and ASM Oversteer prevents oversteering... and they both prevent you from driving really fast. :p

Try to search though before you post though, many things have already been asked here and chances are, so have your question. :) Welcome to GTP!

As Greycap said, oversteer is turning too much (also known as getting loose) and understeer is not turning enough (being tight).

The best way to correct oversteer without ASM is to put you're suspension at a slightly higher stiffness, and maybe drop the ride height a bit. If it's still bugging you, use softer tires, but beware: they will die out faster. If it's really still out of control, install the rigidity increase (rollbar) in the tune shops.

For correcting understeer, try softening the suspension, and possibly raising the ride height. Harder tires sometimes help this too.

The car will be very twitchy and easy to spin in oversteer. In understeer it would refuse to turn at all.

oversteer=slide - The rear tires follow outside the fronts' circle (drift)
Understeer-push - The front tires turn but the car does not (turning hard at really high speeds)

For those after slightly more detail, the following three pages are from the first of my GT4 tuning guides (links for the full guide downloads in my sig).
