Thank you :) my current setup is not that good, i fixed the wheel on a rack i made, a woodchair that ive shortened the legs.... with the force feedback the wheel support i made slide left or right, so counter steering can become tricky... id like to get a seat but i feel bad buying that just for a video game... lol

Imagine what you could do if you had a proper setup!
 
Thats my setup.. lol i wrapped soam foam under it to insulate the force feedback vibration because of my neighbor(spelling?) under me, but it was still too loud from what they said, i had to add foam but not wrapped... now the wheel dont feel planted, it bounce a little... got used to it though. i used a marker to make sure the chair and pedal set are always at the same place. i think i should buy the seat :scared:, would make it easier to get all this out of the way.

Dude, you deserve a seat, you don't need to justify it, you're too skilled. That photo of your 'rig' is too crazy. At least hit a scrap yard and lumber yard, borrow a drill and a saw! It's like you're driving with one arm tied behind your back and yet, you drive like that? You deserve a proper rig. Get a proper rig. Don't justify. Do it. Now! These are not the droids you are looking for!... *ahem* ...Sorry about that. I'll get my coat.

How long does it take you to accomplish these ridiculously fast laps?

On a side note, if you haven't gotten a 'proper' racing seat, have you ever considered attaching your wheel mount to your chair? So then it's your own weight that is holding the wheel mount steady.

It will depend of the car, id say between 45 minutes to 3 hours, its the last tenths that require the most time! :)

i think i will buy a racing seat, just need to find a deal. :dopey:
 
I had that replay saved, i decided to upload, just a mix of fun and hotlap with a stock Mercedes SLS AMG from arcade mode on comfort hard tires. :)

Awesome laps dude. I wish I could try this game with a wheel set-up. I've only ever played with the DS3 and now I'm getting the itch to get my hands on a wheel. It just looks so much smoother.
 
Thx Mitch! havent got the wheel setup yet, cant decide to hit the buy button :scared: hehe and id like to go a in racing school this summer, always wanted to go in one but could never afford it.

Ford GT '06 7:05.141 , i had a 7:04 in this run but lost some times on few corners, understeer off throttle but exiting corners with this car is a blast!:dopey:
