I would love to have a tab in the car settings section that is just Stock in addition to the A, B & C settings.

This tab would set it back to the way you bought it and nothing could be changed except power and tires so you could meet the room requirements.

Would be so nice to use any car in a No Tuning Lobby or One Make race quickly without having to give up one of the ABC tabs to do it.

Thoughts?

I dunno about you but I would rather just be able to load setups from categories by track/car or accessible in an actual file on the hard drive. That way you could have/duplicate as many setups as you want, and be able to directly import setups from online without much hassle.

That would work too. As long as you could do it from a lobby I'm good. Might be more prone to hackers sharing files with those that might not otherwise be able to.

My idea of a setup sheet would just be to load the individual part settings (such as camber, transmission ratios, etc.) and the upgrades themselves (Stage 1 engine, Fully Adjustable Suspension, etc.) without those settings being directly related to the statistics of the car. So hackers wouldn't be able to spread broken cars through that.

We do a lot of racing in our club, both stock and tuned. Such a hassle taking all the tuning off. For the most part I keep a tab for stock settings. Just would be easier to hit the stock tab. Or if the regulations are set for stock then no matter what car you bring out it would automatically be stock.

I like this suggestion @ynot. I've also thought that perhaps we should be able to have more than 3 sheets. So, maybe we start off with A, B, C sheets and then there is a "+" tab next to "C". You click that and it adds a D sheet which starts off with all stock settings, of course.

I also wish we could add "notes" to our tuning sheet. For instance, I usually incorporate the GTPlanet Tuner's name into my Tab Name but there isn't a lot of room for many characters there, so if we had a Notes section, I could easily write a few hundred characters of info, if need be, regarding the tune. It's not uncommon for me to have a car that I really like and I'll literally have 6 setups for it, depending on the track/conditions.

That would work too. Right now if I know I am going to use more than 3 tunes for a car I just buy a second one in a different color.

I like the suggestion too. I suppose that one problem could be that "stock" isn't just tuning parts and settings, it also takes into account any additions you've bought in GT auto - wings, body parts, flat floors etc. Perhaps these cannot be be removed from the car models on the fly.
It would be nice though to be able to remove them without returning to the auto section.

What I mean by Stock is just the way you buy it from the dealership.
