Stockpiling F40 Cars

I find the B-Spec at Spa to be easy and in less than 2 ½ hours
I can reach 20 Million. This event is ending on 1-30-12.

I decided to stockpile F40s to assure an easy cash flow after the Spa event is gone. I currently have 110 F40s but I plan to have Many more to sell for quick cash.

Does this make sense?

Considering there is a 20mil cap credit, I suppose there is some logic to your plan.

What is the resale value for an F40 anyway? Or better, what's the ratio between buying and selling?

Your return on investment is much less using your Bob's to store credits vs buying and stock piling F40's.

You spend 49.5M on the 110 Ferrari F40's and you're only getting back 14.8M when you sell all of them. Plus, how long does it take to sell 110 cars?

Bad investment of time especially when you can reach 20M in 2.5 hours.

Ok, completely not worth it, you've just wasted 35 million bucks! Yes I agree, just work at it for 2.5 hours, much better solution - but I say remove the credit limit, or make it like, 100 mil / 1 billion

Sounds like an idea, since the F40 is about the best trade in price. I won't be doing it myself as going in and out of the dealership is just way too tedious. My goal is to get all my Bobs to 40 before this is lost, so I might have to buy a few, just for the sake. Just now, I'm buying out the OCD (hmm, probably no coincidence, those initials...)

You can use your credits in this game only for buying cars and tuning them. Right?
Then why to waste 300k for each bought and later sold F40? Why not instead just go and buy the cars you are missing now and then do some more Spa b-spec challenge when you're out of cash? You are just wasting time and credits by doing it in my opinion.

B-spec Spa is gone. I ended up with 225 f40s with a resale value of $30,375,000 and my bank is at $20,000,000.

$50,375,000!

I bought a BUNCH of cars including 3 sets of the Ferrari, Ford and Jag 20 million dollar cars from the 60's, two Chaparral 2D's and four Chaparral 2J's.

I thought the whole idea was to just race and get better at it as opposed to this money situation. Of course you need a little bit more for rebuilding and the such but seriously folks, just race. I was very happy to tune a car that was under 500hp just to beat up the AI on the B-Spec at Spa and know that any one of my 0 level B-Spec drivers could take their first race in that car and win. Better yet is being so tuned that on the last lap at La Sarthe my driver would be around the Mulsanne corner before the 2nd place was out of Tetre Rouge. If the car is tuned well enough, it takes an initial overtake command and the race is over but the crying for the AI.

How many cars I could tune to win which at the same time gave me a better understanding of tuning principles and physics was more to my liking. Anyway, racing or watching racing is time consuming and very fun to enjoy for a day or just a few hours. I guess there is no competitive spirit left anymore. Too bad.

I never did B-Spec until these two events.

I like this and I like that 2..

I'm scratching my head here, there is no logic in this at all?

Why can't they just raise the save limit? I'd like to see about 200M instead.

+2
I've been sitting at around 20m Cr for a while now.

If you play this game solo, no Remote Racing, and you acquire all your cars from the UCD then this makes perfect sense. You never know when your going to need that money unless you are keeping track of the UCD cycle.

If you can get people to remote race you, and you don't mind getting those expensive cars from ripping tickets then no need to do this. Simple as that.

Remote racing will always be the most efficient way to hoard credits, you can store 120M there.

I think some people are missing the point. What if that $15mill 2J pops up in the UCD when you've just blown all your cash on something else? By the time you grind the Madrid seasonal enough to make that much it'll be long gone from the UCD. Didn't make sense when the b spec was still available but you can't make millions per race anymore so having a reserve of cash for that special car makes sense to me. I bought out the OCD and all expensive dealer cars before I started hoarding f40's.

Btw, any car resells for its price times 0.3 so all have the same depreciation, it's just that the f40 is closest to the cap without going over it, if that makes sense.

This (and there really isn't any need to get those expensive cars from ripping tickets, I bought heaps of $20M cars with money made from remote racing).

I only have 2 1 million cr.+ cars left and none of them were gotten stockpiling F40 cars and selling them FWIW.
