yaaa you should really report him. Hes taking credit for your art and basically stealing your fame.

Spam him with this:

OH NOES HE'S HIDING MY REMARKS. THEIF.

YOU STOLE:

a Vector M12, Ford GT90, Lamborghini Diablo, and Lotus Esprit.

HAVE A NICE DAY.

He's hiding remarks too.

Yeah, I saw he hid the comments. It is sad that people do such things with other's work. People like this will NEVER get jobs doing 3d modeling.
And now that I looked at his wireframe pictures I noticed the same trick another guy used to steal my meshes. He used the Meshsmooth feature in Max and added more polygons to the original mesh, in a attempt to make it look different. But, considering I am a modeler it is easy to tell when someone does that to a mesh of yours, because it only amplifies what ever mistakes were in the mesh. Not to mention the basic structure remains roughly the same.

Tell him you're an avid GT40 collector and you'll pay $400 for a 2048x1536 version of the GT40, or $2500 for the intellectual property of the 3DMax files.....just to see if he comes up with some lame "My computer can only render 1024x768", or "had a virus that crashed my hard drive...". Just curious how far he is willing to lie.

Hahaha...

"High quality renders"... which are just blurry, not even Photoshopped GT4 images. Report the guy.

Thanks for bringing this up, it gave me a reason to log into dA for the first time in a year; to get on this guy's case. I'm not familar enough with dA's policies, but can he not get **** for lying so much about the GT4 shots? He's saying a shot from Photo Travel was completely modelled, background and car, by him. Certainly that's not right.

Oh, and thanks for making me stare at your avatar for a few minutes, Pako.

I think it's strange he's been getting away with this for a few days now, usually the DA guys are pretty quick. Still, it's pretty funny reading the comments.

Those GT4 shots are just laughable. I can't believe he thought that he would get away with them. Especially the ones with the clearly recognisable backgrounds and with the obviously GT4 rims on the cars. It is a shame that he "lost" the wireframe for the HSC.

Just like he "lost" the wireframes from all those AC5 and ACZ screenshots and wallpapers :p
Anyway I sent a email to the DA about the violations. :)

My god, that guy is screwed! What the hell does he think is he doing? All of that photo was copywrited, and yet he admits he did it by himself. What an idiot! I guess none of his work are even his!!!!! :grumpy: I have a dA account, bud sadly i never uploaded anything.....

Yes, he claims he made them all in 3D Studio Max, or a similar program. If you look Here, you can see that I'm messing with him a bit, even took a very similar picture myself (shown in the link in my newest comment). I reported him, so hopefully he'll be gone soon.

Your Cizeta is facing the wrong way and is a different colour. They're quite clearly different.

How did he think he was going to get away with that?

Yeah, I know that, but I've figured that since GT4 has rendered the same car in the same location it should be pretty obvious to anyone.

EDIT: Seems he just completely dodged my whole comment, except the part about the "misplaced wireframe". Sneaky little...

It is sad. I and other pixel artists have got it a lot over the last couple of years with Pixel Cars growing more popular. I think it's even worse that so far this guy is getting away with what he's doing on the internets largest art based website.

Lol, it's rather hilarious to read his comments :)
He still persists that he made those models himself

Yeah, indeed. Although, so far, he has actually gotten away with it, unfortunately.

If you can prove that it's yours, let the dA guys know. A friend of mine had some of her work stolen, and they said as long as she could prove it was hers, it would be dealt with...and it was. The guy was banned swiftly. In the end you either do something about it by contacting dA or...lose your rights to complain.

And mmm_bmx.

Send a note to whoever organises the 3D modelling galleries.

Just to prove a point, I commented, then reported this as a copyright violation, with a shot taken from photomode by me for comparisons.

Draw your own conclusions from this.

15 minute photomode job (me)

"Difficult render in 3D Studio max" (him)

I chose that one because it's the only one where he stated that he'd made it himself.

lol. He didn't even get the name of the car correct

I count three times where he called it a Garalya JGTG.
hint: it should be Garaiya JGTC.

Let me guess, all he 'rendered' was the background?

His "Garalya JGTG" looks blurry and awful.

Looking through his work, a lot of it is crap!

I've seen GTP noobs produce better work.

Hope you get some results from DA.
