Im kinda new to this forum so I don't know if this has ever been brought up

It would be nice if PD came up with a store where you could purchase different car parts from different manufactures. Like an exhaust from HKS or size 19" rims from rays,or different body kits...or just anything else you could purchase for your car...white out lights...BMW halo lights...tints...vinyl...

I think it would add a lot more to the gameplay
 
It has been said already and No I would not like it.
 
I think you can buy Midnight Club or Need for Speed.
 
So you want to rice out your car..

why not, could be cool although I would just rather have livery cutomization first along the lines of forza.

however, i think PD should focus on more pressing issues: ie standards -> premiums, more tracks, optimized/efficient GUI, better netcode for smoother online play etc...
 
Why not? We had different wheel manufacturers back in GT2.

Only thing needed is bumper kits for standard cars and livery editing with HDD import.

Kind of agree with you.
Like many have said go buy this game or that game,? (E.g Forza, Midnight club,NFS.)
Now in my opinion there,s a market ploy for PD.
Bring stuff like that into GT and then it makes the market for GT a little bit more exciting and could steal away customers from other games like mentioned.?
Just an idea, But I reckon PD could do a better job than some of the other games that have customizing in there games.?
Another example how many threads are here in these forums regarding tuning.
Now gives us like SNEAKERHEAD1206 says a place to buy different parts, Vinyls ETC and see how many threads pop up with all sorts of tunes and customizing?
Could prolong the game indefinatly:)

Loads of people on here have expressed there enjoyment of driving F1's around a kart track.

Thats what I mean there could be some ugly creations out there with all the modding.:lol:
Plus how many have painted a car in GT5, What the OP states is just taking it one step further.? (I Guess?)
Thats why I stated I kind of agree. With limitations of course.:)
Plus how many people would it drag from other games if they implemented it into the game.?
(Look at the market for Forza many like that feature but If it was in GT you would need only GT rather than both games?) (Or several games.?)
But with some tuning parts from different places and manufactures then you will obviously get some good and bad set ups.(Tuning) Like all the threads in these forums.
So yes it has its advantages to put it in game but also some bad points too.

And yes I know you want to drive that bad boy cat round the ring.:lol:.:D

There's a good chance we get some of those options, but unforntunatly PD needs a Liscence to put company's rim in the game (that arent already in it)

Adding good rims would be nice if you are going to use a car as a showcar.

Are you saying the time attack cars from HKS are crap?
And some of the best livery has been flashy paint designs.

Paint jobs maybe, but neon lights? Sorry but that doesn't have a place in GT in my view, I recon we should be allowed to mimic liveries so you can have odd combos like a Gulf GTR, a Jagermeister Corvette, Hasseroder BMW, Martini Mercedes, etc.

Didn't gt4 have different brands? I personally enjoyed gt4s over all tuning over gt5. I liked that we could add nitrous, and buy parts from let's say...Nismo.
 
He said wheels from rays and body kits. He never said anything about plastic ricer kits that add no aero advantage or downforce. Wtf is wrong with you people? Did you forget that all of this was in GT4 and GT2? Which were BETTER than GT5! Smh at you close minded idiots. Racing wheels and kits from auto.makers would deff improve performance on anything there put on.

All I wanted to see was a store that had more options from different performance manufactures...example a set of rims could be $.99 or a wide body kit $.99...just to have different options so every single Honda civic isn't identical...let people use there imaginations on there cars and make them how they want

The problem with adding name brand parts is it will cost for the rights to use those names, thus costing cash to PD and more then likely will trickle down to us the consumers. What is the difference from 19" Rays and the rims that are on their now? A name. Both do the same and are only there for looks. I don't care what rims my opponents have when they are in my rear view mirror.
