I discovered the other day, whilst just fooling around in Arcade Mode, that you can race on rally tracks with some cars that really don't belong there. First, I found that you could use Vipers (I took the Viper GTSR Concept around Swiss Alps), then found out you could use the Spyker, Corvettes and plenty of other American muscle cars too. None of them seemed to be able to put there power down well and span around a lot in the Viper (but I do that a lot on the normal tracks anyway).

Anyone know of any other weird cars they've driven around the rally stages? :dunce:

Charger, Evo 8 with abour 2" ground clearance.

That's exactly my point. If GT4 is meant to be the 'real driving simulator', why would they let cars with such low ground clearances race on rally stages?

Yes, they could make the car bottom out or something. Perhaps a minor bug...

I have used the Charger in a couple rallys. Its not a bad car, as long as you don't mash down on the accelerator.

The Ford GT and the GT40 I am pretty sure those can be brought onto the track dirt and snow tracks. :dunce:
GT40-FordGT in snow in real life = impossible.

A good one to use is the AWD Beetle RSi or whatever it is. After some modifications, I actually completed all of easy and normal races, and some of hard with it.
You'd think with the ride height (although I raised it) and the skirt and front n rear bumpers being so low, it'd make a better sand/snow plow than a rally car.

The De Lorean is fun because it doesn't have enough power to lose traction, so you can toss it as much as you want.
There is no way that a Buick GNX would be good in rallying, but it is as well, wiht a little weight loss.

I have been using a Charger in the rallies. It's a nice orange one. I was inspired by the Dukes of Hazzard. PARAGON GT is right, if you jump on the accelerator you won't do too well. You have to be very disciplined in the Charger as is probably the case with other rear wheel drive cars.

Schrodes I like your avatar! :dopey: 👍

I like messing with the MR cars in the rally course cause the rear likes to slide out and taking turns is actually alot of fun.

I was going to say the honda nsx and the ram 1500 but of course I'm slower then a kei car on la sarthe...

I like using fwd cars to rally sometimes. Its fun because you have to keep up your speed and make sure to turn at just the right time as there is no forgivness with a fwd rally car. I find the 99 peugeot 206 s16 makes a great rally car. the one I use has just over 180hp and weighs 950kg.

The AE86 corrolla is also a decent car for dirt as it loves to slide. The RX7 is also nice.
