Strange Challenges

Hey everyone,

in the last days ago I got two or three strange - meaning unrealistic - challenges in races. I don't mean actively sent challenges by other players but the ones DC throws in when you race.

An example: In the semi-pro championship I got an average speed challenge before the last corner of SKNO raceway - and the speed to beat was almost 360 km/h! In my Ruf RGT I certainly never even got close to that; 230 is the best I can manage. And I don't see myself reaching that (average) speed even in a hypercar, given that there is a corner in the mix.

Has anybody made similar observations?

Not yet, but I will keep an eye out for that sort of thing. I will say I'm hearing about weird stuff from elsewhere too, but I have yet to experience any of that myself.

This bug happens sometimes. Few weeks after the game was released you got challenges like this:

Those were drift scores mixed up as top-speed scores, I thought. Maybe they're happening again, though 360 seems quite low as a drift score (yes, I know you can get an initial drift challenge with a value of 2 occasionally...but, yeah.)

Yes, he was - I was just saying that if this was the same as the previous drift-score instead of average speed bug, that 360 seemed a little low.

I've noticed a couple of in race challenges that seem so far beyond my current level, it would appear impossible!
however I've not really explored how to beat them (what car etc.) as I tend to turn all the HUD off except for when drifting, as I prefer to immerse myself in the racing side of things!

But this would explain things somewhat!
