Street Racing in GT5???

I reckon, despite loving this idea, the ability to drive and race your car through the city(like in real life), the amount of content people are asking for, and if kaz did what everyone wanted, the game would be alot less about the physics side, and more content intense. Basically more content=less focus on the physics engine, something that GT has built it's name on. But who knows, the way gaming is going, the future has endless possibilities, and even in our lifetime, you will get what you wish for.
 
That's why I have still hung on to my copy of burnout paradise. If I ever have the urge to zig zag through traffic at high speeds and keep it challenging I play that game. Sure it's unrealistic but it's soooo fun !!!

i was going to suggest the same game. don't even gotta switch to the PS2 for that one.

my license picture in that one is currently an empty beer bottle.

It was always a dream of mine to have a street racing game with GT's physics.

Sometimes, for a change, I want to race my cars through an open city like MC:LA. It's a whole different game/experience than racing on a circuit. I think it's actually a scarier experience.

If not PD, I hope another developer would attempt a street racing game with realistic physics.

I feel your pain man. I always wish that PD would rent their physics engine to other companies, much like Id does for the Unreal engine. I mean, why not? Thats extra money the could put forth to a new GT with no compromise.
 
.....................Special stage route 7? i just made a room...all we are doing is crusing around the highway racing or dragging...I mean special stage is based off the 湾岸（Wangan)....Alot of street racing goes down on there, including the "Honda rooms"
14.47 miles of japanese highway(Route 7) was implemented with street racing in mind..

Also maybe in the future, they might conect Route 7, Route 5 and Route 11 all together.


but as far as realistic street racing, Route 7 all the way.
