I've noticed a problem lately. Alot of new tuners online are being drove out of rooms because of their poor tunes. They plainly explain that their new to tuning and guys reject vote them left and right. Also I've seen that if your car isn't fast enough to "suit" that groups needs then they boot you. Wtf is up with people lately?

Their ego surpasses them 👎

Very much so. Can't get respect from Noone. Only reason I got some from You and Kenny was cause I asked for ADVICE and not your tunes. I understood the benefits from do it yourself learning with advice as hints to help.

it's not longer art or fun anymore. your best to be with your friends and have fun all of you in one room. if you beat the host too many times he kicks you, if you show a little lag the kicks you, if even by accident you hit someone they kicks you. there's no point to drag or post times anymore, the leaderboards are cheatable and also you can cheat at an online lobby as well. drag racing it no longer depends on the best tunes, now there are so many cheaters, scamers and hackers that you tend to say **** em (yes you ppl know who i am talking about). there's only one thing for me to do and that is to teach the slowest to be better and maybe drag on legit rooms, as far my concern goes to this cheating so call pro tuners, yall have lost all of my respect and i'll do my best to avoid race you

That's what I do, teach the new ones.

I agree with what aka said. Just run with friends that way you don't have to deal with the bs. Or you could create your own room and kick the people that are acting like this. 👍

Hey I'm going to send you a friend request when I get home from work, I run a good, clean drag room about every other morning and Sunday nights, I'm always patient and "in no hurry" so im definitely willing to help out a fellow drag racer!

Now their voting no GTR's o drag rooms I saw one and he kicked me 'cause I had a SpecV 👎

If it was a room with high 9 second cars and you were the only one with a GTR then that might by why. I was in a room and we were in Chevelles and Maserattis and a guy came rolling up in a GTR. It wouldnt even be a match.
I myself have grown tired of only seeing the same 10 cars over and over.

Maybe i've been joining the wrong lobbys (Being from the UK doesnt help in finding a good drag lobby) but what you say is all i've ever seen when I join drag rooms.

I've personaly never held a high view of the online drag scene, the whole scene gives off the impression to me as "Locals only! We dont like your kind round here" though here on GTPlantet there are some great guys 👍 but step online and i'll rarely see anyone being nice or friendly, there's always at least one guy on a mic running his mouth about something, but there are some exceptions I will occasionally see some people being nice and not trying to start drama.

Now when I join drag rooms I just look for the one where I have best connection and mute all mics ignore everyone and put up with all the drama and bs going on.

For example this is what normaly I have to do to find a drag room.

Looking for rooms...

"1/4 Drag NO BS!!!!" Okay its got a few people in here decent connection bar *join* What the..? everyone is draging up and down the pit straight 5 cars wide *leave*

"UK 1/4 Pro drag" Hmm its got a PP limit at 650pp nice should be a good room, oh my connection bar is only at 1, ill try it anyway, then its either one of two things happen. *leave pits.. "you have been disconnected from the server" :irked: or make it round to strip line up with a suitable car, get half a second ghost lag, maybe it was just a one off, line up again, nope im getting huge ghost lag, Great found a room of competitive people who line up matched cars, well run room but I can't race in it due to my connection. :indiff:

"FF Honda only" Well i've got a few honda's tunes lets try them out.. Oh everyone here is from Portugal(edit just so it doesnt sound like I have anything against Portugal you can insert any country here, if everyone in the room is from that country except me), 3-2-1 "You have been kicked from the server"

"Drag racing" Well thers no PP limit thats never a good sign for me, but I have a high connection i'll try it out, get on track and see Spec V's racing Camaro's and other miss matched cars, abuse over mics, people demanding pinks races or calling the other guy every name under the sun if he refuses *sigh* Oh well at least I have good connection this will have to do. :indiff:

Almost exactly why I gave up online play Maccer 👍

...even when I created a room, I would sit for ages with no people connecting or get abuse for the regulations and/or not allowing x1's

I was lucky to get a good online room once a month... then my connection dropped out

Same.... I found a Honda room where everyone was running Dc5 I pulled my Dc2 race one guy got good run out of him, the host line up with me and literally smash him and after that nobody wanted to race me they kept calling me names and requesting me to leave.

Then I find another room with 9 sec cars, nice I think but it was bs after bs and terrible lag so I the end I left and started catching up with the seasonal events.

I was just in a room where it was named "4 cyl drags". I got out my STI, he then says he would kick me because he said a Subaru was a 6 cyl. He kicked me afterward after I brought out my Civic, he thought it had a swapped LS1. What a noob.

If the room says "pro only" and someone shows up in a EK to race GT-R's, I don't give a flying 🤬, you're getting booted. But if the room just says "drag", that means noobs and all...

True that, that's just begging for it.

I understand, but it goes both ways.
So called "pro tuners" like competition to see where they stand on the track (some take it way to serious though), just avoid the rooms that say "Pro" and you 'should' be ok until you have improved. Also, I don't want to beat a new tuner by half a track to be honest, it's not fun for a new tuner nor myself when that happens. I've been known to take new tuners into my lounge and teach what I know.

I will agree, People are A:censored:s ... Heck, some "pros" and "teams" act like punks anyway (you Pro/team guys don't front, we all have one guy). Same can be said for the new tuner who gets whipped then brings a X1 or Veyron out and wants to race or ram people.

I was the only one besides the guy with the silverado, plus he hated gtr's and zr1's :ouch:

I have grown to dislike every over used car in the game. GTR, Vette, Ford GT, Enzo and so on. I wont kick anyone, if im ever a host, but I will ask you to change your car. If not then I will kick. Ive ran the GTR and all those others for half a year and its gotten old to say the least. I now try to only run 10.000 to 10.999 second cars. There are so many more cars to choose from that run 10s that the competition is varied and some surprising cars can be found.

Drag rooms that are varied and have good, intilligent competition are few and far between. I spend and hour searching in and out of rooms before I find a good room. What erks me is when you see a good room title and a HP limit but the host is alseep and everyone its running Mazda Furais while Im trying to get a good run with my Cerbera Speed 6 :(. Heaven forbid people be fair with eachother and run cars of the same caliber.

I actually joined a 'pro only drag' lobby the other day. Full of X1's and Veyron's.

Yeah I hate this crap. Another reason why I'm done. You can't combat this forever you know. You make your own room and no one joins it's like wtf.

They know your fast so they dont want any of that.

In 3k there is a nice little group I run with.

When I venture into the tunnel is when all the BS happens, I know a few people that have stuck to the tunnel but for the most part a lot of noobs

When I host a room I usually filter out via international flags and ill check the tires or if they have traction on. Uncommon international flags for the most part lag rooms but if i know the guy ill let him stay.

That's why I get bored with all other rooms and either would rather finish up my A-spec and B-spec, license test, SSRX, or just cruise around.

Because that "was" a pro room, everyone just left and noobs took over. This is why it's important to make a static host or just kick everyone out when the room has its run.

I tried 3k but not only do you have to wait 3+ minutes if you missed a run, but I don't get the same "rush" of quarter mile runs...

Exaggeration as stylistic device.....yes, yes; always nice.

Don't forget that the "rush" holds on longer (only if you're doing it right, of course), but it's ok if you don't like it that much; opinions differ!

:)

We will always have our rivalries :sly:
