Stupid Rice School Boy!!

I was in art class with all of my freshman homeboys
(yeah i'm fresh:rolleyes: :D ).And a friend pulls out super street and
we start talking about cars and we see a picure of a soarer and I
call it one then some punk goes "NO,that is a supra" Then he
makes up a story about a S200 with a T88. running in street
races around our town and the only company he mentions is
"sparco this...sparco that" he said that there is a mustang with no hood and only a turbo and that's it.just a t88 turbo nothing
else.Then I start asking him questions and he changes his story like 15 times.And he said that you could buy skylines ANYWHERE in the US.He did'nt even know what a silvia was :banghead: :odd: .Then i said "you like drifting??" he said
"oh yeah!!it's cool" then i said "what is it if you like it??"
him::"UUMMMM i really don't know""

I WAN'T 2 BEAT HIM UP!!!!!!!!!!
 
I truly do not understand their way of thinking. It's beyond my comprehension. Riceboys frustrate me. I admire their enthusiasm but in order to be useful, enthusiasm has to be thought-invoked and as far as I can tell those guys don't do much thinking aside from making sure everybody *thinks* their car is the fastest. (It doesn't matter if it's actually fast or is even raced at all.)

Here's my best attempt at an M.O.:
Step 1: Car that looks fast
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Get laid
 
too bad that there's always gonna be rice boys.....i read in a magazine once that the next generation of rice will come from WRC, cos now they have those sectioned spoilers to align the car back.

no no no. the next gen ricer will want to drift and want there car to look like a pro drifter's car. i think that it will a VERY long time before ricers start liking rally racing and wil want there cars to look like rally car.

btw: that was in sport compact car. i have that mag.

yeah, me too :D . SCC is one of the more informative magazines nowadays. and yeah, i agree. rice boys will hit drifting next since its the big thing right now

i agree that its getting big but still i find there's a lot of ppl not liking it cos its not the way to win a race.

You called me a riceboy. While I know you were just saying it, my GF was nearly killed by a reckless 'riceboy' on the freeway. I don't like that term since then. Plus I was addressing what I was intended and corrected it, you just didn't read careful enough. You must've think that I called you a moron because I used that word 'oxymoron'... look that word up.

Look we must not fight each other, but the ricers that will plague over any and all forms of motor sports (except Nascar, No one cares about nascar(sorry to the people that like nascar). yeah and there are a lot of people who like cars because of fast adn the furious. It is great when me and my friends will talk about how we aren't going to put nitrious in our cars and then some wannabe ricer is like "bUt tEh NOS is the most hardcorest in teh world evea for eva!?"

I hate my school.
 
i just drift on GT3.... I don' t really know that much about cars but i love them cause i grew up amongst mechanics and plan on having a nice car with alittle umph to it. (seventeen and still don't have my permit <----- too much GT3 :))

what i wanna know is if you guys would consider someone like me a "ricer boy"

me i don't think i am. But i will say this i too hate people who talk about cars like they are pros and don't even know half as much as i do (trust me thats not alot)

also does any1 here consider all import racers to be ricers (this is something i try to ask everyone who hate ricers for i have not yet found the true definition for term, alot of people's definiton for it contradicts others)?
Is super street planely just a ricer mag?

Given the contents of your sig, and your lack of IRL driving experience ("nearly 18"), I'd say you don't know anywhere near as much about cars as you'd like to think ;)

edit:
As to the "ricer" term - its become diluted over the years, and nowadays seems to mean "more show than go".

Therefore, you can apply the term to virtually anything - from a poverty pack Civic with type R stickers to a stock V6 Pontiac complete with GT wing.

I prefer the term "poser" to "ricer" myself - it gets the point across a bit more clearly :D
