The new pack for PGR3

The list in full includes:

365 GTB4 ("Daytona")
BMW M3 CSL
BMW M6
BMW MINI COOPER S
BMW Z8
Chrysler Firepower Concept
Ferrari 430 Challenge
Gumpert Apollo Coupe 4.2 V8
Mercedes CLK DTM AMG
Pagani Zonda F
RUF R.K. Spyder
Vanwall GPR V12

Each car will cost 60 Microsoft Points if purchased separately, bar the RUF R.K. Spyder which is a free download as a teaser taste of the Style Pack in full.

Wow, nice selection of cars! Might make me play PGR3 again, but I bought the Speed Pack and didn't play the game much afterwards...

How many points is it altogether? I guess I'll be running to EB for another prepaid card soon.

There will be no Mini in any future booster packs, because it would not make PGR3 the right game anymore.

Wow, I just realized that the Mini is not only the first car that can't go 170mph (the requirement for PGR cars) but it is also FF, which is another first. I have a feeling things may not feel quite right.

So I suppose they are still not providing you with extra garage space? If you already have all the regular in game cars, you have to get rid of some to make room for the new ones. It doesn't seem like it should be that hard to add an extra garage via download, or to have the foresight to program extra garages when you KNOW that there will be more cars available for download after the game is released. Weaksauce.

Maybe we should go over to the official site and bring it up to the developers to add a couple of garages. Heck, just give us a big garage about twice the size of the one in the Test Drive demo. I don't think we would run out of spaces if they would have actually let us park the cars wherever we wanted. I mean, the converted barn is three garages with a courtyard. The garages have three or four doors but you can only put three cars in there max. If they would just update the garages with extra spaces it may work out alright.

^and the nyc garage there is a fair wack of room in there that hasn't been used yet either.

The cat and mouse mode would be pointless without a slower car than the already slowest car in the game. The Mini is the best choice for C&M.

No, Its the only choice. Who'd want to push a 6 ton Bentley Continental GT around the Behemoth.

BTW, It's supposed to be coming out in the UK today but theres no sign of it on mine. Maybe its because Im in Ireland.

I was going to say "only choice" but I figured someone would bitch and moan about it. I got your friend request BTW :)

It was not on mine either GJB.

Apparently its up for download. It doesn't show for me, though. PGR3 did auto update with the 2 new game modes, though. Cone Challenge is fun. Free roam around all the tracks in the game :)

Well, I dled the Style Pack. Most of the cars are cool. The Gumpert is freakin awesome! And very fast too. The Zonda F sounds the best. That oldskool green openwheel racer is the most fun to drive, and BC made the Mini too unrealistic. It's too slow. It won't even spin its tires. :(

The Vanwall is going to be hot! American V8 power in a classic F1 body is going to rock my socks, as after seeing it on Top Gear, I did become quite interested in the car. As for the rest, the CLK DTM will be a fun ride for tracks like the 'Ring and a few of the Tokyo and Las Vegas circuits, thats for sure.

...And finially someone screwed their heads back on to get the BMWs in the game!

I thought the Vanwall had a Jag V12? Maybe I'm getting confused with something else.

Edit: No, I'm right, the Vanwall does have a Jaguar V12.

It did? I thought the one on Top Gear had the Corvette's V8 (I can't remember if it was the LS1 or LS2)...

Oh well, it still kicks ass!

Yup, Jag V12 and suspension from the XJ (doesn't say which series though...) for the Vanwall; such a pity it is, like the car that inspired it, seriously under-tired. The R.K. Spyder's steering is almost too quick for its own good, the M6 is a rocket, the Daytona is sex on wheels and the CLK DTM is more fun than any car with an automatic tranny has a right to be, making the SLR seem (even more) like a toy. My final verdict: Style Pack = Your Money's Worth 👍
