Hi all,

Just wondering for those that have tuned a 22B what your best laptimes are on Trial Mountain.

i have seen claims of 1:19, whilw i can only get 1:25 with my current tune :(

if it can give more, i would like to know how. im not a new player and consider myself half decent at the game, i think its a tuning issue......

please help :)

1.19 is I would think is impossible in a 22b, I guess it makes around 520 bhp maxed out, I have an evo 9 making 527 bhp and my best time is a 1.23, even if they jump the grass (cheating) that time I find hard to believe, I can hit 1.18 but that's using my m3 gtr race car with nearly 700 bhp.

I hit 1.17.xxx in the GT 40 II test car and Corvette C5 so i too would like the tune for the 22b that makes it do 1.19.xxx

I saw this thread and did a few laps in my 22b last night. Best was 1.26. I'm not sure if a 1.19 is possible.

BTW - does anyone have a good setup for the 22B?

I'm definitely interested - i have not changed anything on mine except install all the parts and push the max speed out a little.

I saw a Scooby Do running :20's online, but I can't say for sure whether it was the 22B, but it definitely wasn't a race car, and it was under 500HP restrictions if I recall correctly. I can run :19's in the JGTC Supra with 460hp, but it's a race car :/

If anyone could post their settings it would be most appreciated, cuz i cant even make the 120's. Thanks

Ok i managed to get a valid 127.053 on trial mountain after i just tried a bit. Got it 3rd attempt so still reckon i cud do better. Still interested to see other people's setting though. I will post mine if any1 wants to see them.

I am only getting around 1:29, I could probably do better but if I drive more carefully, some of the turns I accidentally drifted.

My car is fully modified except for the spoiler, I like the stock look better.

This is my current set up

Transmission 230 km

LSD

Initial torque 10/10
Acceleration 40/40
Braking 20/20

Torque Sensing center differential 15/85

Suspension
Ride height -14/-16
Spring rate 10.4/7.5
Extension 5/4
Compression 10/8
Anti role 3/3
Camber(-) 0.8/0.8
Toe angle 0.00/0.00

I would like a better set up, mine works pretty well but I know It can be better.

I have to catch up on some work at the moment, but the Imprezas are my favorite cars on this game, and I'll give this a shot as soon as I get a chance and share some settings.

Imprezas!! :)

I ran my 22B with your setup, but I only ran it with 403HP and I'm able to hit 1:27-1:28s.

Threw on a Stage 3 turbo and it's pushing 486hp and runs the track high 1:24s.

Turn on Skid Recovery and max it out... 4seconds... doesn't sound impossible to shave off.

Are you using any assists? And manual or auto?

Aids are bad. And auto is also bad. I am still having trouble getting better than 1:29. Any suggestions on driving technique for this track. Do you break for corners or drift around?

Well to start, if you're sliding, you're not going fast. You did say you had maxed out the car right? So it weighs about 1056kg and runs 537hp?

Use this suspension -

Ride -14/-6
Rates 8.7/7.5
Ext 9/7
Comp 7/5
Bars 2/5
Camber 1.5/1.2
Toe -0.31/-0.06

Just take it easy and gradually pick it up.

I got it down to 1:27, I think I could shave some off, I am still making a few mistakes and slipping a little.

heres the set-up im using to get :25's.

Ca 0.5 / 0.5
Ta 0.00 / 0.20

Trans 168

problem with the 22B is its lack of Downforce compared to Racecars. i am still losing traction on the outside front under braking which causes a little understeer. this definately has more to give..........

i tried all but itstheDre4ms setup and i still cant drop into the :24's

just as an aside, if your getting anything other than 550 fully tuned your missing something....oil, engine rebulild and tuning parts will get you there.

also, mine is in Chrome :)

Best lap on Trial Mountain (With SRF) 1.23.941.
I feel this setup is less understeerd under braking and accel.
But the understeering is far from eliminated.

A bit off topic, but how is the car to drive compared with other AWDs?
And how good is the overall performance?
I'm asking, cause I've one in my UCD right now.

They are the only 4wd I use anymore. I'm not the best online driver. I have 4 of them, 3 tunes for various PP levels.

Just buy it, they aren't that expensive.
