stock bound
stock rebound
camber is 2 on front 1 on back
toe in is 0 on front, -4 on back (a little bit of oversteer is okay)

I know these setups arent very specific, but I posted 1 minute and 3 second laps at tsukuba, and I have no engine mods, ill update this as soon as possible so taht I can get u guys some better numbers

You can lap Tsukuba in 1'03.4xx with this Subaru stock, with S1 tires. I'll test it with your settings though.

After testing the Scooby with your settings, the best time at Tsukuba was, 1'03.5xx which is pretty similar to the stock results. You can improve your settings, by not lowering it to the max and trying a lower value for the spring rates. I find a bit harder to drive with your settings. In some corners seems you're fighting with the cars instead of cornering smoothly. I'd love to test it again, when you improve it! ;)

I'll try it at a different location, though such stiffer springs don't like bumpy surfaces like the Ring or Deep Forest, my favorite tracks.

Hi.
As promised, I've continued testing your spec C Impreza. This time, tests took place at Grand Valley East reverse and they confirm the results obtained at Tsukuba... :nervous:

Stock spec C w/ S1 tires: 1'12.362
Yours spec C w/ S1 tires: 1'12.929

Next testing session will take place at Deep Forest normal. I'd really like to see some improvement on your settings. I'll try to post some settings of my own. :sly:

my subaru impreza wrx sti spec C can do 7.961 on the 400m (1/4 mile).
Can anyone beat that. i can get the car setup and pic later if anyone wants it.

WHAT THE??? all of a sudden, these Subaru Impreza setup threads are popping out like mushrooms.., :D hmm, might as well use an Impreza..,

i want the tue setting please, thanks

Why?? You can do 8.0's with full default settings. :odd:

and quartermile talk should go to the quartermile thread, found in the general GT4 area with bit of searching.

Here you go.
Thanks Leo. :D

Might aswell, it is pretty much the most dominating road car in the game.

*suffocates a laughter* it might have the power, but Lancers have handling, and R34 GT-R's have both..:sly:

LOL  i'm gonna have to go for Lan-Evos, much more easier to drive than a ny 4WD IMO.., but for now, i'll tinker with my 22B.., not to mention my Spoon EK9 also.., :sly:

Hey Dillbones try a weaker stabilizer bar in the back. It seems to me subaru's with a stiffer suspension in the front can pick up more mph in turns. Also with such a stiff spring rate you can lower the front camber a little. Good luck with your Spec C.

Thankyou for that STi-Tuner. I'm not knocking the Evo's Leo (have an awesome JUN spec E5 that handles like a dream), but for the everyday racer that's just got the car, the Spec-C is a better package. I have 1 full race spec and a completely stock Group N version, and trying to do all the Special Conditions races with that car...only 5 hard races left, I couldn't see myself getting that close with any Evo.

Also, when the Evo's fully worked, it's a second slower than the Spec-C in drag spec on the 1/4 alone WITHOUT THE NOS. So you know the Evo will have problems on most fast tracks keeping up with the Spec-C.

As for the GT-R, it's a boat when stock, can only go fast when it's got 850-1000hp (depending on your version of R34). R34PER from you guys was alright though, you did a decent effort with it.

1/4 doesn't solve overall races. and being faster on straights doesn't mean being overall faster on track. it's all up to driver and how well the car suits his driving habits. My tuneups usually leave me room to push it until the understeer or oversteer tells me that i'm being a bit of a tool. and sometimes, like with X-Fire, I don't get either. this, I can push iit, and push it and push it, sticking to perfect racing line all the time, no compromises. same with C740R and few other cars i've made.

I think we already proved this with VTC....every category winner bar the hippie category (Grey's Europa) has been won by the best handler, not the fastest car. ;)
But for this instance, it has to be said that stock v stock against either the Evo or R34, the Spec-C comes up trumps on laptimes, worked is when the R34 starts to shine because between 200-300km/h, the Spec-C can't touch it unless it has it's bottle (NOS) and I'll be the 1st to admit that but the handling isn't THAT much better than the Scooby. The Evo gets better cornering speed still to the other two but not enough to allieviate the difference in acceleration compared to the other two cars.

Yeah, we all have those moments, but usually by that time I decide to continue being a tool and start trying those settings to drift the car. :dopey:

There has been quite a few nice cars out from you & Grey over time which puts you two at the top of the tuning tree.
