Audi TT 1.8 Quattro... Even fully modded this thing is slow as ****. I cannot make this car move.. It feels like it is stuck in tar or something.

My Trueno with a 100 less Bhp will run in circles around this POS :grumpy:

ugly too

I like my TT a lot. It took a little sorting but it's actually quite responsive now, and fun to drive.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I rather like the looks, too.

Yeah, i like the looks of the Audi TT too.
Not too bad to drive either.

I really don't like the DTM cars of GT3, especially the Merc CLK. It looks beautiful, but it is like driving a brick wall. Way too heavy.

Bite your tongue, I won all the Rallys wiff dat car...:irked:

I used the Mine's Evo for finishing the rally part of the game. I just can't seem to handle the Tickford properly, it feels slow IMO, and thats just maybe me.

Oh yeah - the Escudo. Damn I hate this vehicle. But then it makes a GOOD bully though. I just love it when I get the chance to ram other smaller cars off road/into pit lanes/into the gravel/a few feet up the air :trouble: :D

I actually wondered what the Escudo were meant for - So now I know :trouble:

Well, it's not really meant for any of the tracks that GT3 has to offer.

Try reverting to a stock gearbox. You may have ****ed up the gear ratios (it happens to everyone occasionally). My modified TTs are pretty damn fast in the grand scheme of things (with the right gear settings they can outrun a stock Viper GTS).

That's a little hard to believe because:

Dirt tracks + rear-wheel drive = ultimate oversteer

I used a Subaru Impreza Rally Car and then switched to the Lancer Evolution VII RC Prototype and finally the Escudo to win all the rallies.

Seing as it tops out at 215 odd km/h I doubt I stop going around the swear filter it completely... And why does it take soooo long for it to get there

I have no idea. My yellow TT is almost at top speed (128 mph compared to its max of 137) at the end of the front straight of Côte d'Azur.

think power drift

But thats what makes this game great, having so many choices, if you can't find the right combo, you better go back to Hot-Wheels...

Yeah, but all I got with rear-wheel-drive cars were power spinouts.

/me shudders at the memory of driving a Silvia around Smokey Mountain.

Stock Audi TT with stock gear ratios reaches 148mph on the normal Max Speed Test done properly (ie no going backwards first). IRL it's limited to 155mph. Don't get me wrong, I can't stand the "squashed Beetle" styling or the chronic understeer, but it's not THAT slow.

Worst car in the game is the Nissan S15 Silvia Varietta. It doesn't GO anywhere, it looks awful and gets a whole 60hp more when you tune it... Wow...

That's hate alright :D

Very true. :)
They probably left it in as novilty value, but I wouldn't shed a tear if they hadnt included it. Now if they had kept the Pikes Peak Hillclimb track in, that would bew something different.

I raced a friend in GT2 on Pikes, him in the Escudo, I in the Midget II... he was half way down again on the second time by the time I reached the finish line :p

All that power makes for some very interesting drifts

I hate the Skyline R33. Especially the stupid retarded pink one that I can't seem to pilot to a gold in A-8 (or is it 7). I have golds in B license and Rally, but not A???

Skylines are fat Yakuza cars. I like to look at them, but not drive them.

I have a 515 HP Mazda RX8 and it sticks to the road like glue.

I think that a fully modded TT with super soft racing tires and the ride height lowered and no other suspension mods has almost perfect handling. That might make up for any deficits in straight line speed
