Sudden left turn on PS5 controller specifically with 1.66 update

Never had this issue prior to latest update. Happens sporadically but when it does happen it's always when braking into a hairpin turn and gradually accelerating out of the apex my car will just randomly turn sharply to the left. When I try to straighten myself out it will snap to the left again. It will do this about two times until I can finally take control of my car.

Running on PS5 Pro (not sure if it matters) with PSSR, Raytracing/ prioritize graphics. 120hz mode off.
Always seems to happen when I'm accelerating out of a turn and it's always to the left

I don't have an issue with any other screen (like map layout, upgrade screen etc.) where motion to the left happens on its own. It seems to always happen in a race specifically nor could I replicate leftward motion outside of my control in any other game so I don't think I have a broken controller.

Is anyone else having this issue?
 
I've had the same issue aswell, I thought maybe it had something to do with low ride height as it seems to only happen with already low cars on race suspensions, most notably the Viper GTS '02 and the Diablo GT, but having too low ride height usually just makes it so the car doesn't turn at all especially when braking.

I do know of the issue with too low of a ride height causing your wheels to basically rub against the wheel well and causing drivers to be locked out of doing a full turn in either direction. This issue has the car literally snapping to the left in an almost sudden 45-degree turn and will fight me from being able to turn the opposite direction.

I have this issue occurring during the Power Pack DLC tracks as well. It may be associated with ride height, but I'm locked out of doing adjustments to suspension in the DLC so I can't be certain.

During the Red Bull Ring GT One course using the 95 BMW/McLaren F1 GTR, when I brake hard at turn 3 Remus and steer right and begin to accelerate my car will suddenly face the left towards the gravel field. It happens once maybe every 5 or so races, but in the DLC especially with 2 pepper cars it can easily mean losing the race.

I'll do the smart thing and save a replay and post a youtube link of the incident whenever it occurs again.
 
For me it was stick drift 2 years ago. Cleaned the controller with the help of YouTube and lived happily ever after.
