I couldn't agree more, our Guides are seriously lacking comprehensive information. Of course, they are a Wiki, and anyone can edit those pages and add appropriate information as they like. What's surprising is that while many people are anxious to spend a considerable amount of time submitting valuable information into forum posts, they are either unaware of or not interested in logically organizing that information in our Guides.

Yeah, I've noticed a lot of info that could easily be obtained, yet nobody has ever really tried. The number of laps for each event for example (in GT4). It's right there when you go to find out the other information! I've been thinking about working on the GT4 section a little, but I waited to long to confirm my email and I don't know if I can still edit.

Guess what I've been up to today? :D

Bit of a revival here:

I was bored today, so I decided to go fix the game guides after reading this thread, and, in about an hour, I made the GT5:P track list go from This to This!

I'm planning on fixing some more things, and going way more indepth with the GT5:P pages!

From,
Chris.

Great work, Wallrunner! It's wonderful to actually see someone contributing real, valuable, and unique information to the Guides. :)

Just wanted to give a little update on my progress in the game guides section:

I've added pages for every track in GT5:P (Even one for the city Eiger Nordwand is based on), complete with pictures from AMG.'s wonderful collection.

I've also made a general page for the series in general, so any time you see Gran Turismo, it'll take you to a page explaining what the series is.

Anything I've forgotten to mention can be found here, and if you find any problems or want something fixed, don't be afraid to fix it!

From,
Chris.

You've been very busy, Wallrunner! Finally, someone who understands how a wiki is supposed to be edited and maintained! :D 👍
