I'm surprised that there isn't a better system in place for keeping lap time records, especially in Practice Mode. If I run 5 laps with the same car with different setups, it should nest them (not take 5 lines). And if I put down a lap time in an actual race on any given track (assuming it's a legal lap, no short cuts, i.e. red timer), it should also put that time on the corresponding track in Practice Mode. I should also have the ability to view as many records as I want... If I have 1000 cars, I should be able to see a lap time from each car... like a leaderboard.
Anybody else agree? For a game that's all about racing and tuning, I think there should be a better record keeping system... or am I missing something?
