This is perhaps something you're already considering but with a lot of people saying they don't want to see non-GT news on the front page why not take advatange of the Wordpress categories already present to add a simple user operated filter at the top of the page, so people can choose to show all news, or only news tagged Gran Turismo in the main homepage feed?
I don't care myself, I like to see all news and just ignore what doesn't interest me but this seems like an easy solution for those that do.
