This is a good lesson for the kids. People who are filthy rich shouldn't go and buy a garage full of super cars at once. They'll look like an outdated waste of money in 15 years time. :dunce:

Outdated?

These are [edit] priceless [/edit] cars we're talking about here, not networking servers.

Yup you're right. I was wrong that was the incorrect website. I'm sorry. Also...I just want to apologize to everyone else on this thread. I wasn't trying to have an argument here. I'm sorry.

To McLaren, I was just reading what the license plate said, if you have a problem with that, why don't you call up the Sultan and argue with him about it.

Now, can we just have a civilized discussion about this?
It is civilized as long as you keep from throwing sarcastic posts around.

Besides that, you're also the one who seemed to get frustrated just because I had a different viewpoint. And even when I made my own reasoning as to why I was debating your posts, you still got upset & threatened to report me for "trolling".

As eSZee said, your history reflects similar posts to this thread. So, you can consider this "discussion" done.

Yeah, you're right. I do have a history of TRYING to start reasonable threads and before someone comes in and ruins the party. Which begs the question: Why do I keep starting threads? Well...statistically speaking, sometime, somewhere, I have to be able to start a thread that no one decides to ruin.

McLaren, I'm all for differences of opinion, but it just seemed to me (and apparently only me) that...you were attacking me at random because you said out of no where "You've already been told it's not a prototype." And I responded with "What? Did I miss something? Where does it say the car's not a concept car. The picture says it is." And you said, "Well pictures can be wrong, duh. It's OBVIOUSLY exactly the same as the production car." Which...I mean...I don't know what to say to that because you never actually told me a reason why it's not a prototype, you just ragged on me for believing what I saw. You said you assumed it was exactly the same as the production car...and it felt like you assumed I was an idiot for not believing you're way of logic.

But seriously, I've REALLY go to stop posting on this forum since I obviously can't post anything right.

I don't know what in my post history causes everyone to just randomly attack me, but whatever. I mean, honestly, if I were that bad, I would have been banned from GTP a long time ago.

I mean, debate away, but at least have a good reason to debate. Not because you're sense of logic is different. You're argument was like looking up at the nice blue sky and one guy going "That's a beautiful blue sky," and the other going "The sky's not blue, it's green, duh."

Plus, you acted like it was my fault for saying the car was a prototype when I was just posting what I saw. That's just plan flat shooting the messenger.

This thread is done. In fact, mods, every time I open a thread, just close and send me a note that says: "Dude, you know your threads always end badly, stop starting them."

You should start reading your own threads. It was already pointed out to you that the Cizeta was NOT a concept....

Wait...what? I was just relaying what was shown in the photo and on the site.

Except it's not a prototype either. The Cizeta went into production from 1991 to 1995, & then had 1 car finished in '99 & '03.

In fact, the company is technically still around & will build the car made-to-order.

What the 🤬 does that have to do with the price of tea in china or the car in the 🤬 photo?

A license plate doesn't mean a thing. It may say prototype, but chances are it's built just like the other 9 cars considering the incredibly small production run of the company.

I never said TG lied either, but chances are they just read the plate, too. I doubt there's anything different on that Cizeta from any other.

Okay....I'm still confused as to why you're debating this considering you don't have any evidence to say that it's not a prototype.

You're right, I don't. But if you apply something called common sense & logic, you can make a detailed assumption. And that's exactly what I did.

Instead of you who just looked at a license plate (OMG, every car at an auto show is a concept now), I deducted that the prototype is more than likely no different from the production cars when you take into account the company & the small amount of cars they built. The fact you also relied on TG to back you up doesn't really support you when they said this:

There were 10 made, not 7.

Okay, now you're just BSing me 'cause I'm trying to apply common sense and logic to the car in the photo and come up with some reason why it can't be a prototype. And, if he owns 3 of the ten, then there'd be 7 left he didn't own.

I'm sure at least the other two Cizetas aren't prototypes, but then again, he is the richest man in the world, so...who knows.

But, in all honesty are you just arguing with me for the sake of arguing? 'cause...isn't that trolling? Or am I getting my definitions mixed up.

I hope the time re-replying to all those posts was well spent. I have answered your previous posts regarding the subject & will not be wasting my time because you've decided to rewind the discussion whilst playing the self-pity game.

As said:
So, you can consider this "discussion" done.
And no, I'm not trolling . As I told you in the PM, go ahead & report the posts. I'll be happy to speak to the responding mod.

BTW, the reason your posts get the responses they do is because you don't read the other posts in the thread or make unsupported posts.

It's a crime that people can buy cars that are limited editions or of historical significance and never register or drive them.

If I had the money to own all those cars I'd do my very best to drive them as often as possible.
