Not quite, can you imagine how much those cars will be worth in 25 years (and the joy his family will get from them)!?!? Well, he may, at that time, be less rich but he'll still be worth many billions in rare car value (which the family won't need and will easily be able to sell.

Unless of course the world is so drastically changed that petrol cars become worthless!!

I don't think he's going to have any problems with money no matter what happens with oil or his cars, he's one of the richest people on earth. And one of the reasons those cars are customized (way over sticker) is because they are bulletproofed. (the glass anyway) Plus all the usual additions and amenities.
