I think you should do WEC (world endurance championship). Most of the tracks they use are on GT5, but just use tuned down LMP1 cars and GTam cars.

And ill ask if ben wants to do stints.

I still think the TC/RM cars would be the most fun!!! And have the most original paint/wheel/number combos!

Edit: Decided to do GT300 and GT500's in two seperate classes. Will post which cars will be available then which track.

would you do GT prototypes (Mclaren F1, Mercedes CLK-LM, Nissan R390, etc.) and regular GT1 (Corvette c5.R, Ford GT LM, Nissan GT-R LM, etc.)?

How about Fuji seeing as that's doing well in the poll and is a Japanese track.


And If I race I'll be in a GT300.

Fuji has to much tire wear for an endurance race.
I just done some testing their and after 4 laps you need to change the rubber.

Well I have done enough GT300/Gt500 racing in WSGTC etc so I think i'll pass, btw from experince the Rx7 will dominate at those specs while the Lexus Is350 will be left in the dust...

And yeah WEC is exaclty what Wardezes CALM is, you should give it a go .

So! Today I had an idea to host a 4 hour (or around that) endurance race.

I would hold it on any weekday in the holiday from any time between 11am and 6pm GMT but we can see what time fits most people.

I own a HD PVR and I was thinking about livestreaming the race with commentary.

This leads to great ideas but also problems, such as if I am streaming a race out, how would I host as the connection would be strained.

Also, I need a friend to commentate if I am to race. (Maybe I could get a friend to take stints with me and we commentate seperately in real life)

I have access to my brothers PS3 so I could use that PS3 to record the race but I am not sure if I could stream a race out and host.




So this is where you guys come in. I need a small team to help me with this, help me with ideas and help me run it smoothely.


I have a rough idea for the race itself, I don't want the cars too challenging, I was thinking something along the lines of an MX5 or Swift race, maybe multiple classes just to spice things up.

So, over to you...

I like endurance races, so I'm interested. Also, for the commentary, you should see if you can hire Murray Walker to do that for you .

EDIT: Just read your post that you can no longer do this endurance race, which is a shame. Hope to see a similar race like this soon.
