The Lotus Elise RM '96. A lightweight car with the performance to leave Ferraris behind on a track. Easy to use, hard to master. Think you have what it takes to control this housefly?

Modifications:
All Modifications, Hard and Soft Racing Tyres.

Times (GMT):

Races will be on a Sunday.
4:50: Lounge Opens
5:20: Qualifying Starts
5:30: Race Starts
6:00: Race Ends

RACE CALENDER:
Tsukuba - 35 Laps
Cape Ring North - 15 Laps
Deep Forest Raceway - 13 Laps
Autumn Ring - 23 Laps
GrandValley Speedway- 25 Laps

Rules of Racing:

Qualifying:

*We will have 10 minute long Qualifying sessions before the race.
* When coming in and out of the pits, make sure you stay within the white/yellow lines
* If you are on your outlap or a ruined lap, make sure you stay off the racing line so other racers do not suffer.
* No spinning, stopping on the track or crashing on purpose is allowed
* If you want to exit to tune your car or to spectate, make sure you pit before you exit. Don't just exit on the track.

Racing:

* No collisions or blocking on purpose are allowed.
*If you hit a driver and gain their position, let them regain their place.
* No stopping, spinning and doughnutting
* Race leaders should always be let through if you are being lapped. Stay off their line.
* Upon entering and leaving the pits, stay within the white lines.
* Pit stops ARE madnatory. You will have to pit atleast once in each race.
* Racers are allowed to file complaints against other drivers. Replays will be watched, and if the evidence is against the accused, he will be penalised in ways seen fit.

Sign me up, obviously I don't have a team-mate.
If possible I would like my teams colours to be Gold Chrome ( I will send the paint to my team-mate if they dont have it). Also I would like to be #13 :D

Also, is there any reason why the race is so much later? Might interfere with my dinner ect :sick:
 
The races would be shorter, it would all end by about 10 past 7... still too late?
 
Meh, not good... Im sure if you take it to GTAuto they can overhaul it....

...See what I did there? A little GT5 pun. Was good, eh? :)

I'm not sure if I will sign up because I really should limit the amount of leagues I'm doing, but, it sounds good. :)

Well it is replacing the TVR one so it shouldn't be any different. Also, there wont be any drama this time around as certain people are not being let in...

Braindump mode on....

Drives like then 111R elise but lighter but less powerful. Tends to beat the 111r on tracks with medium sweeping corners, but also has a higher attainable top speed than the 111r. Pulls to 180, but it take quite a while.

Better initial corner turn in, over steers on the edge of traction.

Enjoys being taken in the red line and keeps pulling (good when you dont want the disadvantage of a gear change). Powerband is quite wide so doesnt need to be thrashed, but ironically it's enjoys being driven very hard.

Eats oil. So needs to be changed often, probably due to be thrashing it about.
