As to my bad drifting, the prob is that i lose alot of speed doing it and when i do pull it off somewhat i lose alot of exit speed.

Well, here's my general approach: If I'm in top gear I break and listen to the engin down shift twice, at the exact moment of the second down shift I release the break, and turn the wheel, aiming the car at the inside apex of the turn. At this point I coast, let the engin drop 1 more gear, as soon as it does full throttle all the way through the turn.

Some trannies have more of a breaking effect than others, if you're loosing too much rpm, too quickly try repeatedly taping the gas to keep the rpm's up, but releasing before going to the next gear. That way you can maintain some speed through the turn.

hope that helps alittle,
Good luck!

Wanna drift then get the lancer rally car 99 model and use the simulation tyres and the yaw control to 100. THATS THE BEST DRIFTER EVER!

lancers always drift good, not that i've done that much drifting
