I was wondering about your board, I looked in the Ikonboard site, and where can i get...Perl and the CGI.pm?

To answer your question, Perl already pre-installed on most servers. Then, just download the software from Ikonboard.com which contains the CGI files, and you're ready to go.

Would any of you know to find out if your web host thing has Perl in it? (i'm using geocities...)

The easiest way to find out would be to ask them. Or check out their package deal that you signed up for.

As for Geocities, they do not support perl. If you would like a free host that does, the best one (IMHO) is www.f2s.com.

Yeah, F2S is a very popular service, especially with Ikonboard users. Of course, if you want the fastest speed and most reliability, paid hosting is the best way to go. HostSearch.com is a very good resource for finding the best company.
