Back on topic, besides the obvious tires, roll cage etc in the Civic, you could definitely call it a sleeper. That is pretty insane to see something like that roll up next to you and when called out, you think you'd win. I'm not a Civic fan, but I am a fan of sleepers, so that is pretty cool. With that kind of power in a FWD car, that has to get difficult to control.

Yeah. I give the guy props for making 750 HP out of a 4-banger. But after watching the video again, that thing must be tough to drive, seeing how much the steering wheel was shaking.

Also, I can't believe how I didn't notice the gigantic front wheels.

How do you know it still has a 4 banger?

Have at it. Trans Am had engine troubles on top of it. I talked to both owners later on, they are both bone stock, and the GT-R was a 2012. You can argue that all you want but it won't get you anywhere.

I will agree with you that in general, straight pipes aren't really a mod since most of the time, it's just cutting up the factory exhaust & has no real affect on the power. But the real world fact is this: either that Trans Am is modified, or that GT-R driver can't drive to save his life. In most cases, a Trans-Am will need a heavy amount of mods to run a QTR mile against a legitimate stock GT-R time.

To be honest I don't think the GT-R driver could drive since he got beat by a modified 350 Buick Grand National as well. But even still that GT-R should have gotten off the line a lot faster. It was as if he bogged down.

Probably didnt use launch. Or he was in regular auto mode?

I don't know, it never came up in our conversation. I supposed I could ask this week if he shows up.

This really needs to get back on topic guys.

Performance nowadays really only has to do with the owners budget. Anything can be just as fast as anything else with proper funding and build design.
