I'm still stuck with 5/5 Mbit, so I wonder if you, RedSuinit can host the race instead? If you can, make sure you add everyone in the entry list in the first post.

I'm seriously at a loss. I wanted to get some practice in tonight and literally could no pull 1:55's at all. I don't know what the heck happened last night but I was throwing them left and right. Now I'm averaging 57's. I hope I bring my A game tomorrow because we all know we're gonna need to be in the groove for the race!

Not to be completely void of all responsibility... I think these cars are raced REAL hard with lap times being pulled under 2mins at Suzuka. I THINK I can say that a refresher course for the chassis and engine is in need because I can see no reason why my lap times dropped so much. I can see it dropping a second or so from driver error but I can say within the past two hours nothing has helped me gain back my time in the corners.

So for those who may be struggling like I have, blame the car! and the ridiculously expensive maintenance bills associated with Super GT cars!

My car has 533 hp through quite a few oil changes, so pls set the hp limit so we can race.

Here is another theory. Online doesn't seem to count towards wearage on the car. After I used my car for a bit and oil changes it sat at 523 hp. Then I only used it online and the hp didn't change. Yesterday I needed some credits to do the chassi repair so I used the car in some A-spec races. Then suddenly the hp went up to 533 hp after oil changes.

Just like in real racing, its important to have a well prepared car within the rules of the competition. I've been changing oil of this car after every race I done with it.

But don't worry. This is my first race on this level. In the race, my main goal will be to stay out of troubble and then see how far it gets me.
 
If you guys need someone to fill an empty spot just add me on PSN and let me know. I got enough money to buy a SuperGT car right now and I'm sick of waiting for that FGT.

I think redsuinit might have missed me because on first page my GTP account is listed.

I'm using csisac, so i've sent a request to redsuinit. Hope to see you guys racin in a few minutes
 
Seems like I can't join seeing as I'm NAT 3. :/
 
I keeps saying ' Entry was refused due to network incompatibility with the room host. '
 
Please RaceHost, disable voicechat, make the room "single host" (check box), set race quality to "very high" and max HP to 632 ( to rule out extra turbo's but compensate for oil changes).

The single host option is very important for other racers with NAT 3.
 
I have the race quality turned down to standard so that those with NAT 3 connections can connect. When I had it set to Very High it would not let anyone with NAT 3 connect.

The room is my LOUNGE, not an open room everyone! You must go to the Community section and select my ID and go to my lounge in order to connect!
 
New room fellas we were having problems with the lounge. Room number is 1472-6118-4216-8216-8891

Race starts in 20 minutes. Hurry!
 
That was terrible. First Hamilton hogs the road, forcing me out even though I was taking a far outside line on the VERY FIRST TURN. Making me have to push the hell out of my car just to catch up. Then Senninha forces Strittan off the road, which makes strittan sipn out directly in front of me, and I have to drive a full lap with damage, putting me basically in last place. After that there were several more racing incidents. Guys race CLEAN next time. Jesus Christ. That was absolutely terrible. Johnkiller2 forced me off the road because he thought I hit him from behind when it was really poseldorf, making me lose a ton of time at the chicane. :ouch:

Had a very good time. Didn't do too badly for my first online race, and it was quite clean as well.

I saved the replay but only the first 18 laps. Also, GT5 wouldn't let me view the final results - could someone post them? Cheers.
 
Great fun indeed.

But the race has to many incidents, i went to pit 6 times, 1 for tires changing, and 5 for repair.

Crimson, save the file into a usb pen, zip/rar the replay and post here to download.

There was one time where I hit the grass and lost control, I tried to just let the car go, but it came back across the road as you passed me, and I ended up hitting you.

I saved the replay as well.

Yep but its ok.

I liked race with you, its always clean and very challenging. we had a good battle, short, but good.

Thank you for a good clean race (from my perspective!) guys. Had a good first few-laps battle with Senninha - very hard but very fair! And Jaedon, you scared me with your strategy when I came out of the pits behind you :P

What strategies did people use? I think the guys at the front of the GT500 class did a mix of 1/2 stops, which won? I did 1, btw.

I WOULD have only done one, but I got damaged twice, making it a two stop race. I wish we had been able to use softs though, my second pit was at lap 13-14 so I could have slapped on some softs for the rest of the race and put up some really good times.
