Welcome to Round 3 of the Super GT championship. This week, the series makes a 2nd stop in Japan at Twin Ring Motegi. For this round, the competitors will face the East course configuration, meaning that downhill Straight that normally leads into turn 7 is the front straight leading into turn 1. With sweeping corners, only two straightaways and many hard braking areas, the track leaves little to no rest for the driver.

General Information and Regulations​

All rules, regulations, car specifications, and races are controlled by SuperGT sanctioning body, GTMSA. Any and all questions should be directed to GTMSA officials (namely me RACECAR or oldmodelt) and officials will do their best to answer in a timely and accurate manner.

All drivers must run at the specified weights and horsepower settings provided by GTMSA for each round. Horsepower and/or weight settings are adjusted for competitive reasons each round based on finishing positions from previous rounds.

  • Standard Online Racing Rules Apply.
  • No Cheating, hybrids, etc. You must run the car specifications I give you
  • Try keeping at least 2 wheels on course. Long races = small mishaps, but absolutely NO shortcuts
  • No wall-riding as well. Combined with penalties, this will slow you down considerably, so don't do it.
  • All decisions by GTMSA officials are final


Sprint Race​

  • Arcade Mode>>>Single Race>>>Real Circuits>>>Twin Ring Motegi Speedway
  • 5 lap Single Race
  • Weight penalty in effect
  • RM tyres only
  • No tyre wear
  • AI @ your choice from -10% to +10%
  • AI tires always set to RS
  • Forced Pit Entry penalty system
  • ASM is prohibited TCS is optional
  • Gearing (top speed slider) is own choice
  • Points: 6pts - 5pts - 4pts - 3pts - 2pts - 1pt
  • 20 second penalty added to race time if you dont submit a time
  • Top 3 take a 1% weight penalty to the race

you put Hong Kong here: Arcade Mode>>>Single Race>>>City Courses>>>Hong Kong. while it says twin ring here: Twin Ring Motegi East Short Course; 5 lap Sprint Race. also the 2nd is a saturday not a sunday.:) should be fun though.

:dunce: my mistake. Will fix it.
 
I enjoy this track quite a bit. I enjoy the regular historic road tracks more than any other type. The GTR seems to build good torque but has a narrow power band and little of the punch one might expect with performance data like it has.

Looks like Super GT's Last hurrah on GT4 is could end in style. Keep up the Great driving gentleman 👍
