Super Laps Vs. Hot Laps

I have a quick question for the quite large Seasonal Event community.

What is the difference between the Super Lap TT's and the Hot Lap TT's?

I figured somebody would know here on GTPlanet!

EDIT: The reason I wonder is because we have the same virtual goal of running a time as fast as possible!
 
I noticed the S2000 TT was a hot lap while every one before it was a super, not sure about the new ones. Is there another "hot lap"? Mechanically in the game there's no difference, I'm not sure why they're labeling them differently.
 
no idea maybe they differentiate between the ones where you can run your own car/setup
and the ones where everybody drives the same car/setup they give
i cant check it right now but its only a guess anyways

I am pretty sure I checked this last night. I am positive some were "Super" and some were "Hot" in which you could tune your cars in both of them.

I agree with sidebrowns, not sure why they name them differently.
 
oh I guess its something borrowed from the Indian Culture... (the Native American Indian culture that is)
Super Lap because the guy naming the TT's was feeling Super...
Hot Lap because the same guy was feeling Hot...

So in the future we can expect a Cold Lap, an Angry Lap, a Funny Lap, a Horny Lap...

Hopefully there'll be an 'unassisted' guy making up the next one so it'll stop the whiners saying those top 100 guys are only there BECAUSE of srf/abs and the like...

Just looked now they all called super lap, hot lap could of been for the anniversary cars :confused:.
Can't wait for the super horny tt's , do a lap give the misses one do another lap, feel sorry for the single guys :sly:
