I just splashed out on an Audi R8 as an alternative to my sauber and entered it into the the SUper speedway 150. I started in a-spec and pitted after 15 laps, then went into b-spec. After about 30 laps the other cars still hadn't pitted at all! I don't know if it was a one off, cos i havent tried it again. Any ideas?

PS: Do you have smallville in america? It's such an awesome program dont u agree?
 
The Peugot 905 pits only once (on lap ~60) in that race. I bloody beat me by 9 seconds because of it pitting once vs me pitting every 8 laps...

CPU Pit strategies can be anything from 6-stops (every 15 laps) to 2-stops (every 40). In my old game I did this enduro with the R8 as well on R2 tyres and had a three-stop, once every 25 laps. Your strategy will largely be determined by your fuel levels as opposed to tyres in this race - while you can get around on next to no tyres, you can't go anywhere without fuel (what happens if you run out, by the way?)

And what on Earth does THAT have to do with GT4?!
 
My friend and I were mucking around in arcade mode on the high speed ring and my friend was in the minolta and i was in the xjr-9. He ran out of fuel first and what happened was he was only able to do 80 km/h until he reached the pit.

I used the formula gt car and pitted once. I just kept going round and round with red tyres. I won by a few laps too.
 
Toyota Minolta - SuperHard Racing tires. Speed setting 2 (3 will hit wall, waste tires and make you loose by about 30 secs). I have not tried other cars yet.

Agree about using the Minolta, but, put superhard back and hard tyres front. B-spec Bob will be ok on setting 3 apart from when he's pitting, as he has a tendency to hit the entry wall to pit lane, then has to mess about reversing etc to get in. Just keep an eye out for when he is going to pit, and drop the setting to 1, he will be fine then. Trust me, I've done this one many times, and with different cars, the Minolta seems best for my b-speccer, and usually wins by 2-3 laps.
 
Just to add "yet another choice" to the mix.

You can one pit it on R1s. At least it did on the black 787B.
