"We'll see you at the race!" says Mayuka and Sawako, race queens of the #01 team.

Great job GN+. Can't wait 'till the next update. C'mon drivers, start filling the leader board.

Drivers: Submit your times to either GN+ or myself. Remember, before you submit times submit the mods on your car and its specs.

Yokosuka, JAPAN --- "Ladies and Gentlemen....... the Rotary.... LIVES!!!!!! Muahahahahahahahahahahhaha!!!" Ok well it didn't go down like that, but when word came though that Super Taikyu Series needed some drivers, so he looked at the cars and knew what he wanted to race.
"I knew all along that I wanted to be with Mazda... its good to have the opportunity in the ST5 #81 Fortune ADVAN RX-8, and I hope I can give the Altezzas and S2000s a challenge, plus raise a little hell in the process..," said the young American. Who, however is this young American, and why does he want to come after the Hondas and Toyotas? The young american's name is Randy Morgan. The reason why he wants to come after the Toyotas and the Hondas... he wants to show that the RX-8 is the prescription for the Super Taikyu ST5 Championship... testing at Grand Valley Reverse...

"We have begun our testing and so far, the car is awesome!! The little RX-8 has handling and speed. With the restictions of stock brakes and tranny, I think it will be interesting to see how well my car does.. I'm happy so far with it... but I haven't really looked at the schedule too much yet to figure out which tracks that the Little Mighty Fighter could have some troubles..." Randy told Super Taikyu News Radio.

He also told STNR that he very interested in the STC series that Race Director GN+ is currently testing...
"What makes it interesting is I'm wondering if the series is going to based under the old 2.0 Liter series... that would be cool..." :dopey:

This has been a Super Taikyu News Radio Story @2006.... STNR.. the 24 hr. home of the Super Taikyu Racing Series.. if it isn't Super Taikyu, we don't carry it..

Breaking News... Randy W. Morgan is considering entering a Subaru WRX in ST2....

Yeah, i'll be taking care of timing, so submit the times to me..just for future reference.

I have my Celica all setup and ready to go, I will send you all the info about
parts and I have a time too. And I have to say this car does handle well:).

Maybe I will send it to you tonite, i'm getting excited about all of this:D.

Edit:
I have sent you the list of parts that are on my car also I have sent you my lap
time for this track, I just hope I sent it right.

Who's ready to start the season, and who thinks we should wait for more drivers first? I'm kind of itching to go myself. :-p

I think we can get just a few more drivers. Also, I'm back in Dallas so GN+ if you could send me everyone's car specs you have that'd be greatly appreciated. Everyone who HASN'T submited car specs, I'll be able to respond to questions accurately and accept car specs.

It's only been a week so far. I think it could be a mistake to start before there's enough competition to keep people interested.

Also, what's been decided about tyre wear? I was thinking maybe we could run in race events e.g. the Gran Turismo World Championship in the Proffessional race hall has races about the same length as the ones you have already chosen. It's open class so all cars can enter and most importantly it has tyre wear.

We've been working on that. At this point it is still very much up in the air, we have been checking out all our options but I think it's to early to say whether or not tyre changes will be included. Venues may be changed, lap counts may be different. Keep your eyes open.

ok then.......almost 10 seconds faster than me.........i really got to do something about the way my car handles............

Keep working at it:tup:, and when you get a good setup the car should drive smooth
with little or no understeer, when that heppens you will get good lap times:).

The #3 ENDLESS ADVAN Z33 has timed in at 151.224!:yuck:

Grand Valley Reverse has too many tricky sections! Getting the right gear ratio set-up is tough . . . there are times when your accelerating, you hit max revs, upshift for less than a second before you have to brake and down shift! Going from turn 2, I think, into turn 3 . . . Then the exit from the 3rd tunnel where you make that tight right hander, then left, then right again. . . that 'lazy man's chicane', is what I call it! I always get goffed up with the shifting through there!

Not bad. Though there is probably at least 4 if not 5 seconds in there. Just get smoother and you'll be competitive. Whenever I get in a situation where a corner is very close and I hit the rev limiter, I just let it hit the limiter. It isn't great for the motor, but in GT4 the motor won't give away as dramatically as it will in real life. Remember to use the "Auto" settings, final drive and adjust gear-to-gear when necessary. I am by no means a set-up guru(sp.?) but simple trial and error will help. I'm still struggling with the 'Vette's suspension, the thing is insane. Understear, overstear it just seems to go back and forth even in the same corners. I've adjusted my driving style and nothing. On the ST2 front, the Subi looks great. I'm still getting it dialed in but it is really fast and fun.
