I think logan was sandbagging last night, he'll probably show up and qualify with a 1:22.5 lap.

Sandbagging would be a fun idea, but unfortunately that was the peak of my driving prowess.


Man, that #48 is classic!!!! I hope that thing is running in the GT 500 class. I don't need any more competition. You know how some cars look like they're going fast while they're standing still? That car would look like its standing still, while it was going fast.
 
FINAL "OFF SEASON" RACE

This week I'm going to shake things up a bit. We are going to be doing a GT1/GT2 race, but with a twist. If you have won a league race in season 1 or 2 you will be required to run in the GT2 class. I want to give someone a chance to get an overall win. So basically if you have been running the lower class cars in the past few weeks, you should run the GT1 class. The GT1 class will be 601hp and the GT2 class will be 532 hp with a 1100kg weight limit. Below is the choices of cars for each class

By popular vote the track will be Nurburing GT/F
The race will be Friday night, Lobby opens at 8:30pm est

Wish I was there today.

Good racing last night guys. I got to experience the Laguna Pit Glitch again though. Lost several seconds while the crew stood around admiring their newly installed tires. Never could catch back up to DJ until lap 35.

Nice driving DJ... Looking forward to the upcoming season.

Anyone have an idea of what a decent time is for the GT1 class? I haven't had a chance to pick a car or get any practice in yet. Hopefully I can catch some of you other GT1 drivers online some evening and we can get some practice in. 👍

Some Season 3 Info:

Season 3 will begin on the 29th of this month. It is a Thursday.

Races will be held at 6PM PT/ 9PM ET.

xR0ADRASHx will host.

The following race dates will be set as soon as I can. I have to work the races around my work schedule unfortunately.

This season the focus of our Super Tuner Car Championship will be on the Tuner aspect which means more 1 make races. We will have 5 races for season 3. Due to my lack of free time we will not be voting on different themes every week. I will post a link to the season 3 thread soon. It will list the 5 different events we will run along with the regulations.

I hope this change in our league doesn't upset anybody and I look forward to starting the new season.

I got to run some laps last night. I'm running low 1:49's with an occasional 1:48. I think I'll get down to mid to low 1:48's when I get the gearing setup and some more practice laps in.
 
DJ you might want to consider using the hp/weight regulations this season instead of the pp. It seems to keep the cars about equal and has produced some close racing. Also I think we should keep the pace lap as it has eliminated alot of the turn 1 incidents

I like the pace lap as well so that's going to stay in. As far as HP/Weight regulations I will email you a preliminary list of the events before I post them on the new thread. Hopefully you can give me some helpful suggestions as to what those limits should be for each event.

I hope I'm not asking to much from you BTW.
