Should we all turn off our mics before race start?

Cool deal DJ. Have you decided what tires to use for the next race? Thanks.

Race Softs. I'm hoping to get some practice in for this event. I need to update the scheduled events thread with all the info for that event. I will post it here when it is done and update the OP to reflect that. Also I have to do the points and race recap so i'll try to get it done as soon as i can.

Turn 1 has always been a problem and always will. It will suck just as bad to have a pile-up in turn 2. Let's just go on green and hopefully have enough respect towards your fellow drivers not to much things up and get on with it.

That's how I see it also. On some tracks a rolling start can be fun, but ultimately it all comes down to respect and common sense.

DJ, I'm sending you a PM.

I hope to see every for some practice this week. I'm rusty on Suzuka. I also hope everyone sticks around, let's turn this volume up to 11.

I'll be practicing for it and will look for you online. I'm usually on late evening up til late night.

I have all the SuperGT 500 cars, so if anyone needs a car just let me know and I'll gift it to you. :)

It was a busy week for me, I didn't get any practise or choose a car until an hour before the race as you can probably tell (before anyone else says it!!) :D

I will definitely try and join you guys for some practise during this week, I enjoy driving with you and I tend to drive in the latter part of the evening which should be early evening for most of you, hopefully I can jump on with you sometime.

I've got a pretty decent connection I can always setup a room for you DJ
NAT Type: Type 2
Connection Speed (Download): 23.2Mbps
Connection Speed (Upload): 1.4 Mbps

DJ, no worries, glad to help out when I can. I am just throwing suggestions out there to see what sticks, not trying to change the nature of your series. I read elsewhere in the forums that other people were having grip issues as well, so perhaps last night was an isolated incident related to the PSN coming back online for more countries.

NCR, the lag issue got me. Every time I caught up to a car, I would lose front end grip--cannot brake and cannot turn. So I ran 19 laps and parked it. Figured someone had to get last place so I fell on that grenade.

Bo, I agree with you, no amount of rules will matter if folks are not following them.

oh yeah I forgot to ask, was I the only one who didn't pit, I'm seeing that some people pitted twice, I find that really surprising on race hards! Tho I only had time to try 3 cars before the race so maybe some do tear em up pretty bad. From lap 30 on I was struggling to get through the chicane cleanly every time but it made the end of the race interesting for me, as I'd spent most of the race mid-field without seeing anyone else!!

I was watching after I dropped and it seemed as though tire wear was not consistent on all cars. You were driving real smooth and yes other cars wreck the tires.

hello everyone in this tread , DJ I want to know what hapened last night with me, I dont understand why I was kikass from the classification, did I do something wrong?tell me please

I just watched the first 10 laps or so. First off apologies to roadrash I hit you on lap 7 and to snoop, I hit you on lap 10.

I scanned through various racers views, Xavier was definitely jumpy. the car was perpendicular to the wall several times, jumped around and what not, however there were several others that were doing it to some degree also. I don't know how the lag effects other racers, some are rock steady, that was me for both races. I tend to have 20-30mb on cable. So if someone is lagging bad would that cause those on good but weaker connections to lag too? How do you figure out the weakest link?

No Worries Brett I know it wasn't your fault. The lag was terrible for me everytime I got near another car I lost all grip and couldn't turn or stop. I nailed Mattics in a turn and put him in the wall. Soopa sorry I got upset with you last night I was so frustrated at that point and decided to park and watch. I did see some excellent performances by Godangit even though Xavier was trying to get in his passenger seat. Logan..great run last night. NCR all I can say is WOW you are fast. Everyone else that stuck it out great job. You all are better men than me. I was getting a head ache from all the twitching.

I think we should go back to the way we were doing things right from the start, Set your time in practice, start the race and run like the gentlemen that we are.

I'll have practice rooms all week for next weeks race some afternoons and some evenings. You are all welcome to join my lobby. Most of you are on my friends list if I missed anyone send a friend request and stop by my lounge.

Only premium GT500 cars right?

I've just ran an internet test on my PS3 and the results at my new apartment are as follows:

NAT Type: Type 2
Connection Speed (Download): 6.0Mbps
Connection Speed (Upload): 481.2 kbps

My connection is

NAT 2
d/l: 16.5 Mbps
u/l: 3.7Mbps

I think we got a winner! Soopa had a good connection to but since he is from europe I think it would be better to try it with you hosting an event and see how it works.

Yes please. It was more kick back that way.

I snuck in snoopy's lounge earlier today to spy on them and he said they had hit the 1:55's

Oh,oh. I've got work to do. Thanks Boshuter.

That certain person is just sick fast (you know who you are friend). I'm averaging mid 1:56 to low 1:57's. my problem is tire wear. After 10 laps my boots are gone. I'm not sure yet how many laps( we were thinking at least 25 to give us a 50-60 min race) so a 2 pit strategy is most likely going to be my plan.

I'm running high 1:58.

Same here, on a fast lap. Looks like some practice time is in order to keep up with the hot shoes.

This person is not sick fast (not sure who you are speaking of), this was just a miracle lap I'm sure. This person is most likely averaging in the 1:56-57 range.
