Super Woden GP3 appears to be in development and it's going more traditional with a 3rd person camera.

Personally, I really enjoyed Super Woden GP2 and Rally Edge, I never played GP1.

The concept of GP2 with a 3rd person camera really appeals to me, and I think this will be the kind of classic, pick up and play fun that has been missing from most AAA games in recent years.

No release date yet, but there are some (short) videos on the creators X account, once of which is in the article.

In a perfect world, this game will be moddable and plenty of people will add cars, tracks and events to it. But I suspect it will have minor mods like real car names but not added content. Either way, I really enjoyed the others and am looking forward to this.

I've always dreamt of GP2 with a 3rd person camera. Can't wait for this one!

I’ve always liked the classic Gran Turismo‑style feel the GP games were going for, but the isometric camera never really clicked with me, so I ended up skipping those entries. Rally Edge was my first experience of the series and that was brilliant. 👍

Really glad to hear GP3 brings a traditional camera, I'll keep an eye out for this one!

I've had my fingers on the purchase button for SWGP2 too many times but the isometric view always steered me away.
This looks brilliant. It'll be an instant buy for me once it hits the PS store.

I really enjoyed both Super Woden GP 1 and 2, I still need to play the Rally version.

With a chase camera could be glorious.

Basically, it's the closest thing we'll see to a remaster of GT and GT2.

Echoing others, the isometric view has always put me off, but the variety of cars had also held an appeal. Will be keeping a keen eye on this one.

I bought GP2 and played it but the isometric view makes it hard to race especially after playing a traditional view racing game. I love the car selection just can't get used to the view. If they add to the car count ( or keep it the same) and use 3rd person this will make a good game sooooo much better

I don't mind the isometric view, until the cars get too fast, then I start to struggle. More a skill issue I think 😂.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the iso view. It just gets old after a while.

Very much so in my case 😁. I find hard to remember which way to turn so I often end either spinning out or going the wrong way 🤣

My fingers are like pretzels with how tight I'm crossing them for a Switch release (preferably not the 2...)
