Hi everyone, i just bought the game and i wantto find clean racers, i think we can make a PSN list to add racers all over the world

You have come to the right place. In here, you either are a clean racer or you're out and publicly shamed!

So, welcome! :)

Will get it next week it seems (late birthday present), will try it out and join online at one stage.

Great to see new people still joining the fray. 👍 Supercar Challenge received little fan fair at it's introduction and it's remained a real niche product--the pitfalls of having a small publisher with virtually no advertising budget. But the developer has continued to patch and improve small details and I think it offers one of the best on-line lobby options out of all the PS3 racers. Those who play it regularly, consider it a 'hidden gem'.

You won't find hoards of people racing at all hours of the day like you will with big name titles. But generally speaking, there are a lot of clean racers out there. And most of those who post here regularly pride themselves on being clean racers.

good added you drivers! :)

Hey Ozgur_GT sorry for booting you out of the lobby lastnight but me and my brother (DEVIEjr) were having a private tournament and required no other players. Hopefully see you online again for some clean racing. 👍

There are private lobbies ;).
Excuse my lack of knowledge regarding this game and it's online lobby's. I did notice an option to modify the slots in the lobby,do I need to select all private slots to have a private race? Thanks for your time. Steve.

And I'd like to apologize Ozgur for not replying is invites yesterday but when you send them, I was on an offline practice session at Montreal, and when you send the other 2 I was actually in the middle of the Challenge event!

Sorry and hope to find you soon online!

Yes same here. Actually Ozgur, I had sent you a PM, asking if you would like to join the Challenge event but you didn't respond.

Risotto (Grandma Biggles also makes delicious risotto 👍): most likely there was nobody else online when you tried. You have to remember that this is not a widely played game. That is one of the reasons it is good to get together with other players on this forum ...

Hey Ris8 glad to see you bought this one too:tup:

There isn't so many people playing this game(hopefully this wiil change with the NA release) try evenings...:)

Yes a complete noob on Supercar Challenge.

Is there anywhere where you can find tips on setting up your controller (G25).

Break = more then 10% currently blocks my breaks.
Steering, I do not have the impression to be in 900° mode.

Just the results of first tests with the DBR9 in Francorchamps (I hate the description Spa for this circuit) with settings as challenging as possible, Simulation, Aids off except for a bit of ABS.
Suffering as usual with the new circuits, still need a lot of miles before going online.

Some general tips:

- It's kind of stating the obvious but try to do your braking in a straight line. The cars get very twitchy and the suffer more extreme lock-up unless you're completely straight. If you're using ABS, you should worry so much about lock-up. I don't run ABS and don't have problems that severe.

- Scrap the DB9R for now. It's a tricky car to drive. You might want to try the 348 Challenge or 360 GT. Both of them are much slower, much more stable and better balanced than the Aston Martin.

- The game has support for 900* wheels but it doesn't not use (or allow you to adjust) to full rotation.

Feel free to add me to the roster of SupercarChallenge drivers. I picked up a copy today for EUR19.99 in my local GAME. None too shabby I think you'll agree. :) I'm still getting the hang of this game though; it's quite a change from GT yet I'm enjoying it immensely thus far. 👍

Ah, the Irish SCC community is expanding. I'll add your PSN Mr. OnToast. Good to see your sensible choice of PC operating system.

There are great SCC tournaments held with users on this forum. It's one big reason why SCC can be more fun than GT5P (ability to have lobbies). There are plenty of issues with the game which can be a put-off, but give it a chance and it's very enjoyable.

Getting SCC for 20e is a bit of a bargain. It was a real circus when I tried to buy it on the release day; visited every store in the centre, finally locating a copy in GameStop for 35e. A friend of mine paid 50e a few months ago!!

Hey everyone, my name's Michael & Im new to the forum. My copy of SCC should be coming today, im writing down a bunch of your PSNs, I cant wait to actually have some clean racing online. Ive been jealous of the PC sims online competition, Im glad i found this forum, with. I hope to have some good races & i would like to compete in the "SCC - Ferrari 355 Challenge Series" sometime!....although i need to put in some track time first....hope to see some of you online for some racing!

Got my SCC copy yesterday and tried it immediately on the simulation settings. Coming from GT5P I had to switch on the ABS, cause I just went straight on in the turns because I slammed the brakes too hard :) . Maybe I need to switch to right foot braking...

If the other new SCC players want to do some practice races before moving on to the 348 or 355 tournaments here, please add my PSN :)

As of earlier this week, the forum administrator at Eutechnyx.com confirmed he had nothing to report but they are "working on it". Take it for what you will.

You can add me guys, not sure how competitive i'll be, raced with arvore and alan g a few weeks ago and only saw them on the first lap! I've got much better since then & using a G27 feels so good in this game its the best virtual driving experience i've had. 👍

Nice to see you're enjoying the game Redgate:tup:

I only see Alan at the Starting Line, also:sly:
I wouldn't take that night as an example due to the fact you caught us up praticing for Jeff's events with setups cars while you were in a default car which in some tracks can be like 5 seconds slower per lap...:guilty:

I remember that in SSV8NC you were a very competitive-and fair:tup: - driver so I'm sure you'll be in this one too,Aliens aside:)

BTW did you unlocked the 355 Challenge yet? jjaisli is running a series with this car that starts in two weeks...dig the forums for setups-increase rear ride height, lower the front ,extreme negative camber values(front and back) and set suspension and toe to suit your driving style...there are drivers who recently joined also:tup: and the slow brigade likes to ensure that even the newbies have competitive races:) so you wont feel out of pace:dopey:
Check it out...👍

Thanks for the advice arvore, not unlocked the F355 yet but might be interested in the series when i do. Also in a TT over at eurogamer and have just realised what a difference setups make.
To be honest i've not raced much online since SSV8 NC but if anyone here wants to add me feel free. :)
