To be honest, my first interpretation would be that the -5% late registration penalty would not be considered removed for qualy as a "normal" air restrictor penalty, but it does seem a little ambiguous...

Being that I've never raced on here before, I wasn't sure as well. Unfortunately, now I've been told two different things. Well, I've PM'ed ICS so I'll just see what he says about it.

Well, well,my secret agent infitrated into the "pit" of the team Amemiya to take some fotographs for me about their heroic battle to bring the RX-7 into a competitive stage.I must tell you that he had a hard time to find their "pit" at all. :sly:

This picture shows very well that after their disappointment at Apricot Hill (citation from Neil : "One win, Ah,Ah,Ah...Two wins, Ah,Ah,Ah...Three wins, Ah,Ah,Ah!etc, etc! Wankle's RULE!" ) the chief shaved the budget of the team a little so they can only rent a newly built garden shade somewhere off the map, right behind the pit lane.

In this picture you can see that they hadn't got enough money to buy the tyres. Conceivably the engineers were forced to bring the car on their shoulders onto the track, leastwise this speculation is confirmed by a hand on the right upper corner of the picture pulling that poor miserable mechanic's hair. :boggled: One more thing is conspicuous on the picture:they hadn't got electricity neither. They tried to cool down the energy drinks by the air... Maybe it is a new additional cooling system to finally produce enough power to beat the Celicas? :dunce:

124-003.jpg

Here is the last one from our secret database.Desperate engineers hidden under the engine hood trying to figure out how to install the newly attached members of the CRA (Chinese Rickshaw Association) to gain a little bit more speed from the car. In Japan?!
Neil and Andy, the two drivers of the RE Amemiya Asparadrink team could be afraid about their pitting strategy. :nervous: From this moment it is not enough to take some fuel while pitting but they need to pick up some water and a handful of rice to their teammates in the engine bay and we didn't even mention the tyre and clam necessities. :ouch:
Maybe the Asparadrink will sort out the problem? :odd:
We will see it in the main race. :)

Hahaha thats great.

Time submitted. THX
But my car is very slow this track :ouch:

sorry for my bad english

Times submitted!!! thx.

And Who said that Hungarian's have no sense of humour?

Very good Laz!

Though it has to be asked, are you trying to hide your own nervousness?
Everyone knows that rickshaw driver's will run for ever! Especially if you have a 9mm pointed at the back of their head! LOL

Neil

Nice work there Laz :) Very Good !!

Just had a good run, had the same car for every lap to draft the long straight......I'm sure someone will ask so I'll save time, set the difficulty at +9. May not work for anyone else but with my car and my settings it worked perfectly, Good Luck everyone !!

So does anyone have any times they wanna share? I'm consistently in the 1'23's. Hope that's not slow.

Neil,Andy!
Is it so clear that I am nervous?
It seems 3 of the 4 cylinders was filled with liquid concrete by your mechanics...
I am feeling slow this timd.

Time submitted.

I managed to get into the 1'21s even with the extra weight. Good luck all 👍

Time Submitted, I keep swapping tenths around for each lap but I love this track, one of my top three atleast :) Can't wait to see how much Chris will torture us this week 👍

Jerome

Times sent! Aiming for last place this week, too many problems in RL to concentrate.:indiff:

Neil

Times submitted. Have no idea if I'm fast or slow, nobody's given any clues. I do have extra weight but I had fantastic luck getting a draft every lap on the straight from the FTO with difficulty at +9. Good Luck!!!!

Times sent .. also completed many laps afterwards elvaluating tyre wear , etc .

Right now in GT300, my best is a 1'29 in practice. But that is faster than the best lap I have in my race. :O And I'm hard @ work on getting times for both classes because I had to put it off for the whole week until today.:scared::crazy: Maybe I should make an effort in getting things better planned out in the future.:dopey:

Deadline: (GMT -6)

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but there dosen't seem to be a specific date for the deadline.

Yeah, I noticed it too. :indiff: But I just submitted my times, just in case.;)

Good thing Cam, Sunday night is always the deadline, well at least the first 4 seasons and so far under Chris's command in season5 . Does anyone know what happened to EATS? He just plain dissapeared, hope nothing bad happened to him...most likely got sick of us JGTC drivers:) especially Laz, Neil and JR :)

I have no idea why i'm so fast in GT300 and so slow in GT500  theres certainly no sandbagging going on .

Will continue to race the Pitworks Z nonetheless .

Delfino your GT300 best lap: 1'29.825 ~ 1'29.800
1'29.800 X 5= 7'29.000
Your 5 lap time is 7'26.527. How is this???????????????????? :nervous:

Yes,it seems,that something is wrong...
Maybe a typo on Chris's or Marty's side?
Plus the first lap is a bout 4 seconds slower than the other...:scared:
It could be 7'36.xxx?:ouch:

Well! Don't I feel the idiot?

Just worked out what went wrong with my qualification time........I still had tyre wear set to strong, not none!:dunce:

Completely forgot that it needed to be adjusted for quali.
Ah, well. Live and learn eh?

And I get the same figures (sort of) a 7'29.125 is the fastest possible, and that is if all Marty's laps were identical 1'29.8xx's.
Maybe a 7'36 is correct as Laz suggests, and that would jibe with the rest of the field's fastest lap times v's race times

Neil

Hmm...a 7'36.527" would put him right behind Drew, who had a faster lap, and ahead of Dustin, who's fastest lap was slower. They are all in RX-7's so I think that would make perfect sense.

I agree, it's got to be a typo somewhere. It's only one digit next door on a keyboard, init?
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind about either Marty or Chris's integrity (I have to say that much, as I trust them both implicitly 👍 )

Neil

Now this is just downright messed up. Somehow, I'm supposed to have guessed the deadline was yesterday since there was no date and no one else finds something wrong with this?
Deadline: (GMT -6)
This is my first season in Super GT so I'm not familiar with its dates as I am with the other series I currently participate in, but somehow everyone else knew. Sorry if I sound snobbish, but I've gotta know. RL gets in the way alot and I can't do anything if I don't know whats going on.

I was just assuming it was the same as last time. Every Sunday we submit something, either a qualy or a race.
