Happy Crimbo, ya mugs! Love the bleedin lot of ya!

Time submitted :yuck:

Due to a last pre-Xmas week of work, plus my mom arriving to visit for the holidays, I only managed one try (with no time for restarts if I messed it up). I ended up with a race time including 2 spins and a bad off that ended in a crash, in which I was VERY lucky to avoid a penalty.

So with at least 25 seconds left out on track, I don't expect a great finish here

As to the holiday break question, I would like a break until January 7 (2 weeks) if that's at all possible. I won't have time until then to play, so I'm indifferent to whether or not you post up challenges...provided they don't count for/influence the season (penalties, points, etc.).

Good luck to all, and a big Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to the 2007 SuperGT Drivers Lineup

@ICallShotgun: Thanks mate, I appreciate the thought. No dates yet, but the first trip could be as early as January 14th. I'll PM you when I know something more 👍

@CAM and GT4Def Same for you guys. I hate to see attrition start taking it's toll this early in the season. CAM has been in quite a few series of mine (sorry I missed the Clio Cup man) and I've noticed a marked improvement in his skills over the last year. Impressed, you betcha!
:confused:OK, so where am I improving? I'm a bit confuzzled because sometimes I take my place in the points standings as a true sign as to how I am faring. Although I did get a DFP back in the ealy part of summer(Late June - early July).

Or as they would say in Japan...

Sure glad I got my times in on time....uhuhm Chris? Just messin with you buddy, this is a busy time for all of us so when you get the times you get the times. While I'm at it would you please fix the Round 2 Quali thread where Marty blatently cheated and ruined it for everyone, again just messing with your head Marty, I know you didn't intentionally mean to get caught....dang there I go again:) I best cut my losses and go away :)
Peace Out

Marty, I hope you know that if I thought you did it on purpose I wouldn't have joked about it, sometimes my warped sense of humor gets unappreciated...I mean misuinderstood . Anyway I know you could cheat much better then that if you put your mind to it, unlike Neil that has to steal other peoples cheats so he can use them, he has no sense of originality...hope he doesn't read this :)

God, I'd be SO mad!!!!!!!
I haven't got a devious bone in my body, so I have to copy others, don't I? (BTW, thanks for the last few Andy! They really helped!)

I'll throw in as well. I thought I was going to be down more than I was. I lost about a minute over the course of the race down 5%hp. I have been doing some testing with the other cars and it definitely would have been better to either choose the Wedsport Celica or the Aparadrink RX-7. I haven't done any testing in the Cusco Impreza but that woudl have probably been a good descision as well. The RX-7 is sooo smooth but I've always liked the S2000 LM Car since GT3. We'll see how it goes after my penalty drop off. Times

Chris is very Lazy :indiff:

Sorry for my bad english
Good luck for all

:confused:Maybe he's on a vacation away from home or school for the holidays?

Im doing this with Softs and Hards. Very quick time. Ran a 3-stopper today. Able to do 10 lap stints on hards will being able to tear the track up with softs but yet be very gentle on the tyres. It very possible to do this with softs. But if I went all softs the whole race I would be doing a 5-stopper.

Well boy, where is your "very quick time"?
I think it was a good lesson to learn how to show some respect to the old stuff... :)

As it looks right now im only second. But I dont really like the ASL because it is so slow. If I had the car I wanted I would be up to where you are.

Yes,maybe...maybe not.
Is your car slow? With 3 of 5 laps in the 1'28's in the qualifying? :odd:
Don't forget about Chris,I think he has a good result too. What is your opinion about a third place GT4?

We egarly await the results Shotgun. :)

Hope Shotgun doesnt turn out like eatsviper4lunch.

No, sorry, holidays and a family emergency in Nashville TN where my brother lives. Everything's OK, no one was hurt too badly, but I had to be away for quite a few days.

I was waiting a day to get results up because of a time-verification that did not come through, and then everything went downhill. I'm back this morning and will have the results up VERY shortly.

PS, as a rule, and I think i stated this somewhere in the registration thread, you should get some sort of time-verification. It can be a saved game, it can be a video, or i'll even accept a picture of the screen with your final time and/or hp/wgt settings. It's a must or your times won't count if I see that they don't really mesh well. I've been around long enough to know what the "old guys" (looks at Neil) can run, and the new guys are under a LOT of scrutiny, so this mainly goes to you. Please Please Please verify your times.

Congrats to the winners Fantomas40 and...wait...ME! Staring at Laz in the rear mirror the whole race was a little hair-raising but good race to everyone. Round 4 will be posted soon.

OK then, I guess I should have my digital camera handy, just in case.;)

Ouch :banghead:

Nasty race for me. Having said that, if I'd managed a clean run I might've taken the win here...

I hope all had a great festive season! Onward to Round 4 :)

That's right!, pick on the newly 40 year-old! :grumpy:

They say that you are only as old as the woman you feel, so.............that would make me 39! :ouch:

But seriously,
I save EVERY race I do, and save screen-shots etc where nesc for all races I do. Always have, always will!
It's not that I think that I will be called on any of my race times, but it is better to be safe than embarassed by not having any proof of my times if they were questioned!

Just happens to be the way I am, and always have been!
